New model weapon being held out to far.
I created an M4 and i got it in game and its showing up but its like 10 feet in front of my guy.
could someone plz help

you created one new null and put the triger/grip exactly on there
and after the hp_fire (other null with renamed) on his barrel ??
EDIT: like this

white one is hp_fire and the green is new null without changes, and remember put hp_fire and weapon model under the null new

Well my friend got it in game for me since im still learn but ill ask him next time i get on but it should be in right spot from what i remember placing.

And you moved the gun so the null was in the right place, right? Opposed to moving the null so it was in the right place.

Create a new null, call it dummyroot if you like, do not move this null, drag and drop your gun model so it is under the newly created null in the XSI tree (assumes you are using XSI) select your model, click on the translate tool, make sure Global and COG are highlighted, move your gun model so the crosshairs (red, green, blue movement ones) are exactly over the dummyroot null, once there freeze the translations, Now move the model so it's trigger is on the intersection of the dummyroot null, this is a good starting point for lining it up to the trigger finger you can adjust it afterwards.
