Could someonecreate a skin for me for battlefront
i would like to ask of someone to create a skin that i have ideas for replaceing all pilots for all genres except cis if you are willing to do this task for me i would be greatful cause i would so much love to have this skin. please replie if you would like to take on my challenge and thanx if you do.

unfortuneately my computer wont allow me to creat a skin or even make a map i downloadd all the tools and it still wont let believe me i would do it my self on mycomputerbutit just wont let me so i thought possibly somone else could help me out

Ok well several things, firstly the mod tools, if you can run SWBF then they should work. make sure you are installing them in a correct directory (one with no spaces in the file path) this is all explained in the accompanying documentation, keep trying and eventually you'll succeed any probs then do a forum search and then post if necessary to find out how to get zeroeditor BFBuilder etc... to work. Ok now on to skinning, you'll need software capable of editing TGA files, you may or may not have this. Do a search on your computer or in the assets folder shipped with modtools for any TGA files, try and open them and either they'll open in your paint/photo editing prog or it won't be able to open them, if it can't open them you'll be pretty much stuck there in terms of reskinning or changing TGA files. Don't be disheartened though I think people on here may help if you say what you're after exactly but I think you're more inclined to get a response as to how to do it. try doing a search for software on http://www.download.com that'll alow you to edit TGAs and then go from there. Hope all that rambling helps some.

um ok interesting but I have something to tell you, first off Diet Dr. Pepper she looks good, second even if I could do that it would require a model to skin (I could skin the model, if this doesnt make sense then here's how it works)
a skin is just a texture not a model meaning that I could make Mace Windu white but not make his nose longer
lastly I dont dictate what health and weapons the charcater has, that is all dictated in the map, and unless you have a map that you created there is really no way youl be able to get this is in game

yes the weapons are dictated by the ODF but that still is edited in the map/mod
and like Qdin said, without a skeleton and animations to that skeleton the model will just float around the map (if you could even model a character)
Modeling a character is not for the faint of heart this process can take several days of constant work (depending on how good you are and what tools they are) learning a new tool of this sort is also difficult
