I actually thought the yavin sky fit with the terrain better, but that's just me.

Very nice work. I like the map and everything. Also a tip, I'm a Call of Duty player, and I've usually noticed that most of the American soldiers in WW2 didn't really end up wearing helmets most of the time. Some did, some didn't. Just a tip

Re: WWII: The Pacific
And in reality, taking off your helmet in the middle of a battle is a very stupid thing to do (as I'm sure all who've seen Saving Private Ryan would know.
).
And (Anonymous), the map looks very good, but I would suggest making the under-floor (is that the right term?) lighting should be "toned down" a bit, as if you look inside the bunker in this shot:

It looks odd as the inside of the roof is almost pink. But hey, it's your call - your map, you choose what's what.(Anonymous) wrote:Hidden/Spoiler:

Just make the texture 100% transparent.

Won't work, then there would be a nicely sized hole in the engineers back.Master_Ben wrote:Just make the texture 100% transparent.

Meh, details, details....
Sorry, didn't know that. I always though they made the backpack separate.

Re: WWII: The Pacific
Actually he isn't, but not for the reason mentioned above. The backpack on that model doesn't use a separate material, so if you added transparency to the backpack you would be adding a transparency effect to the whole model. That doesn't mean that it will necessarily be transparent, but the game will read it as having transparency and that will cause problems any time it's near something else with transparency (glass, CPs, lightsabers, etc.).DarthD.U.C.K. wrote:wrong, they made the backpack seperate and the engineers back doesnt miss polygons - master_ben is rightDarthRogueKnight wrote:Won't work, then there would be a nicely sized hole in the engineers back.Master_Ben wrote:Just make the texture 100% transparent.

Re: WWII: The Pacific (Update Coming Soon)
The American skin looks alright, but the helmet needs some work. The standard Rebel helmet doesn't quite fit, so I would make a new one and hexedit it on
