My question is, if I munged the World's in the assets; tat, dea, dag, mus, kas, etc could I add the levels newly munged by me into the game, and it still work including MP?
Are the asset included versions of the worlds the same version that was included with the game?

I believe so, because I followed the edit a shipped world tut awhile ago, and Geonosis was the same

Yeah, it'll be just like you'd edited the terrain/added objects to look exactly like the stock maps. Of course it won't replace them, it'll just be a clone.

Ok, Just wondering, cause I have an Idea for an MP compatible mod that would replace all the game's shipped maps, or most of them.

An advice that will take you a LOT of time but worth doing it, rename your layers and stuff, when I checked the unofficial 1.2 patch I got some sides messed up, I don't know if maps suffer from the same issue, but if you wanna make a "UO1.2P friendly" mod is highly recommended, as for sides that's a lot of hex editing but it is worth the time.
