The Battle for Saleucami - v1.2 NOT GIVING UP
Saleucami Canyons v1.1 - A Battlefront II mod map by Mazda A.Y.
In the Clone Wars, the Republic begins an all-out assault on a Separatist War Factory on Saleucami.
Jedi Knight Aayla Secura leads the attack while Grievous prepares his forces in order to cripple
the Republic attack.
In the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance establishes a hidden outpost in an abandoned
Separatist cliffside war factory. The Galactic Empire however has discovered their location
and launches an elite heavy assault squad of ground and air support to destroy the Rebel
base and deal a deadly blow to the Alliance.
Installation instructions:
1. Download the zip file.
2. Create a new folder named "SAL" in your "addon" folder.
3. Extract the zip files into the "SAL" folder.
4. Run the game, choose Instant Action, and select Saleucami.
5. Have a ton of fun!
Changes from v1.0 Beta:
-Tower turrets in GCW
-New ARC Rail Trooper replaces Clone Commander
-Clone Sharpshooter replaced by Kashyyyk/Felucia Sniper.
-Droid Gunship added
-Extensive bug-hunting
-Terrain remodeling
-Glitch removals
-More Speeders added according to request
-Concussion Cannon Turrets from Kashyyyk available now
-Built Beam Turrets also available
-AI path fixes
-AI flight fixes
-Improved AI skill and ability
-STAPs, BARC Speeders, AATs, and IFT-X Tanks have sound
-Removed 2 Techno Union Ships
-Added in light posts

Upcoming in v1.2 Final:
-Sound for all vehicles and starfighters
-Imperial Shuttle in GCW
-New Clone skins
-Finalized death regions
-Finished CTF modes
Known bugs:
-Death regions aren't final yet, so try not to fall into the pits and the ravine.
-CTF and 1-flag modes aren't finalized yet. They can be played however. Conquest and Hero Assault are final.
-If you select Han Solo's fusion cutter in Hero Assault, it will get stuck. This happens with many mod maps.
-The palm trees have no collision effects.
-Most vehicles have no sound effects yet. This is still a work-in-progress for me as well as many other modders.
If you find any bugs, report them to the forum you found this file from, preferably
the Battlefront II forums in LucasArts or GameToast forums.
You may NOT modify this map without my consent. You may certainly NOT re-release it on
your own accord. Those who break the sacred rules of respect and modding shall be
punished.

Looks very nice indeed, im worried that it may look a little too much like Geonosis though..

Doesn't look all that bad, actually. I have only a few little recommendations, nothing too big, to make the map better:
- Maybe change the textures of the Geonosis spires, like everyone else said. That way it won't look as "Geonosis-y".
- Maybe put some more bulb plants here and there. Make it a little more interesting.
- Like Alex said, maybe reskin the clone troopers to look a bit like the 92nd recon with Commander Neyo. Also, like Desann said, if anyone ever does convert that Adi Gallia model from JA, you could put that in for a Stass Allie hero.
- Maybe remove the Galactic Civil War era, if you want. I think this map is kinda meant to be Clone Wars-only; I never liked how they made the Clone Wars planets available for GCW.
And that's about it. Only suggestions though. The map's still looking good regardless. Keep up the good work.
