Well, its good, but the gameplay looks suckish. Its not lacking, it looks to easy. The clones way overpower the cis, and the way you just shot in and got a bunch of kills in like 5 seconds makes for extremely unbalanced gameplay. And the CIS isnt as fun to edit, so I wont be surprised if you wont. I would downpower the clones, or at least remove their shields! You ran in the tunnel with a shield, then started killing everyone before they could shoot!

This looks very fun  I really don't care if the republic is overpowered, that's how it's supposed to be. I don't think the CIS side is meant to be played too often...

Thats what I dont like about a lot of new mods and maps. The cis is as bland as default (because it usually is) because either the person was to lazy to edit it, or just didnt play as CIS, therefore not finding it neccesary. Although Im not saying thats the case, this is terribly unbalanced, and easy games are no fun.

yes, but in the SW universe, there weren't a billion different legions of different colored droids like the clones had.

yea. im the SW universe there were 2 kinds of droids used during comat, the b1 and the b2 (super battle droid) the other variations were like security guards and commanders/pilots.

This is a pointless argument. And on your point, lots of the mod legions aren't real. So some people can be creative and do the same for droids. Its just droids are harder, less appealing, and less fun to edit, but all the less, they should be balanced in a good quality map.

Wow, I can't believe how time flies. I'm out of school now and have more time to work on this. As for the sides and balance thing, I frequently forget to update and right after I posted the video I changed some health values so the sides are really way more equal. Command posts have been moved and placed. There might even be a small battle on the spiral. Right now I'm trying to get the map balanced again. After I changed the health and moved the command posts, it became very hard to win as the clones. You can still pwn droids but you do have to watch your health. I'll post some more stuff later when I have time. For now here's a picture of a flamethrower I made for the Imperial troops. Its kind of dark, I'll get a better picture soon. Also, I made a Ferus Olin skin and an Older Obi-Wan. They're finished I just need to take some pictures

Gun looks great, very sci-fi style.

moreover, why even have flamethrowers (which need expensive fuel) when bullets and lasers are just as effective if not more so against rebels.

maybe I'm overanalyzing it, as I like maps that include a flamethrower unit (it is kind of fun to walk into them and watch them burn to death. hehe)

Thanks for the comments about the flamethrower model. Why flamethrowers? Because the Empire just felt like it. :D Just kidding. The flamethrowers were not my idea, it actually came from this book. I'm not sure why the Empire thought it would be a good idea to walk in an ice cavern and burn gorgondons but they did. They also used a mortar cannon and flechette launcher. I hope to model the mortar cannon. The flechette launcher is finished, I just need to have it exported and to upload a picture. The map itself is close to done, I'll just need to mess with the terrain a little and maybe add some secret things.

EDIT:

Small update, instead of making one of my usual boring unedited gameplay videos, I made a short little mini video of Ilum set to the Sonic the Hedgehog Zebrahead theme. I'll make a longer one that shows more of the updates on Ilum later.

The map it's self looks amazing, but the gameplay looks just like a droid killing fest, which usually gets boring after awhile. Basicly, you should either power up the CIS to balance gameplay, or downgrade the republic's weapons.

Awesome, thanks. It really is harder than it looks, I died after almost everyone of those clips. It'll be even harder after the Chameleon droid is put in.

EDIT: Well, it's still going. Clone Wars mode is about done. I'll need to add my heros to hero assault and then that's done. I need to add some more path planning but anyways........GCW is in progress now. I just need to vary the units and model a few more things. I'll put some pictures of the new flechette launcher and flamethrower up soon. For now here's a picture of the new cave system. The tunnels are a bit smaller than I thought so the fighting there is going to be tough....but fun :D Expect quite a few updates in the next few days.
