Re: SWBFIIv1.2 Unofficial Patch - Full Release
Thanks everyone.
That's the same Dooku as it's always been. I don't know why it'd be low-res.
And I did change the clone's blaster effect. I used a screenshot right from the movie to make their laser color.

Yeah, that's basically all I was saying. For some reason I thought Dooku was on the list of models to be polished up.

I noticed that the EP2 Trooper has EP3 first person armor, but I guess that really isn't a big deal...

Not if you added the FPM files.

I did add the FPM files and it still has EP3 first person for the EP2 Clone Trooper. Its not a big deal though, just wanted to throw that out thereCaleb1117 wrote:Not if you added the FPM files.

I never had that bug. Version 1.0 or 1.1?Revan wrote:You play as Han Solo, change our primary weapon to the fusion cutter to repair, for example an ammo droid because you need det.-packs. So, now you want your Blaster again, so you change your primary weapon again, but you can't!!!

Re: SWBFIIv1.2 Unofficial Patch - Full Release
He said he'd try. Greivous is a strange fellar with a strange skeleton, giving him a cape is difficult and might very well be impossible. As for the cis bolts, why should they be violet?Revan wrote: Rep, you said you'll give grievous a cape, but where is it???
Also you said you'll colour the CIS' blaster bolts violett, but why are they still red???

Re: SWBFIIv1.2 Unofficial Patch - Full Release
Thanks for the complements.
1. Tried to add cape to grievous, never worked.
2. Grievous (as with nearly every other jedi) takes off his cape/cloak when there's a battle.
3. In the movies, his cape has two different patterns on each side; ingame it'd have to be the same on each side.
4. Would require 11 hours of tedious hex editing and tinkering with abstract concepts such as collision primitives, mesh hierarchies, bone hierarchies, etc which I don't want to do/can't do.
1. I never said I'd make the cis lasers violet, and it would be illogical to do say anyway as they are clearly not violet in the Star Wars films.
@FPM of troopers, yeah it'll be the ep3 FPM for the ep2 clones, but the 501st commander guy is there too, and most of geonosis is a big mess thanks to Pandemic's lazyness. Also, as I said, I could have worked half a more year spending 7 hours a day just tinkering with things (which I DO NOT have the time for, I barely have any free time now) or I could have released it before things got busy (which is what I did).

I've been wanting to ask this, can I install this without dealing with removal of BFX and the old Conv Pack? (I think it was version 1.9 of the Conv Pack)

Re: SWBFIIv1.2 Unofficial Patch - Full Release
Actually there are no gameplay changes from the swbf2, as doing that would kill online compatibility.XxDepredationxX wrote:Thanks a bunch, I'll download it today. But I've uninstalled BFX (no offence ARC_ Commander) because my hard drive is running out of spaces.
Edit: So I've played it, only a few maps to test it out. I'm keeping it for sure but gameplay wise, to me, I had more intense fun with BFX, it is still cool to have accurate depictions of the 501st and FPV 501st arm looks great with the battle marks!
Oh, Kit Fisto and Luminara works in Alderaan assault for me, new HUD looks great but might need a while to get used to.
But these things bugs me.
- DC-15a Blaster Rifle pop's up as award weapon and fires the lousy 3 shot burst round.
- ARC rifle shoots overheatable chaingun rounds instead of blaster bolts from rifles.
Not saying that I hate it, I love the new upgrades, it just gets annoying for me. I'll be keeping it for a long time! (Well, if TBFP never got released or another version of the 1.2/1.3 was released)

Er, now... Oh, yeah! It was version 1.0. (Now 1.2
But perhaps the bug is only in the german version of the game...

Doubtful, as far as I know, the only difference between US, and foreign versions is the localization.

Re: SWBFIIv1.2 Unofficial Patch - Full Release
Hey Rep, my PC is being stupid so I can't check right now -- but did you include cockpits for the space fighters? If so then I've got an actual A-Wing cockpit I did from my old SWBF1 Tech Map days that's much better than using an X-Wing cockpit. You could insert it if you want as a little mini-patch. It's a really quality cockpit converted from X-Wing Alliance.
