Scaling effects
I just figured out how to scale up objects, but now my explosions look sissy and lame and lame and sissy. Is there a way to make them... you know... bigger?

Re: Scaling effects
Edit them with Particle Editor. Look it up in the FAQ.

Re: Scaling effects
Funny, I thought it was
When you've got PE going:
1) Pick the emitter you want to change
2) Go to Transformer --> Size
3) Mess with the scale and lifetime; you have to make the scale bigger but make the lifetime longer so that the effect doesn't move too fast
That's how it is for most effects anyways. Which one(s) are you changing?

Re: Scaling effects
That's probably because you didn't save it as a custom .fx, or is still referencing the shipped explosion effect in your .odf.

Re: Scaling effects
And the new effect must be in your sides effects folder.
