Battlezone 1998. It's an epic game I'll tell ya that. So I'm making a mod themed on it.

Now, as for the skins. They CAN be used for reference in creating the models. And I don't think it matters much if they themselves are used; I've seen plenty of Jedi Knight-series skins used around here.

it does matter. the jka-skins are mostly community made and the other onesa are from sourcepacks raven software released.

hi everyone, i´ve got a question:
are there any good hair-msh or tuts that explain how to make hairs? i don´t mean the hair you can make in xsi, i mean simple addon msh´s that works like cloth.

You cant have cloth be an addon mesh. You can have an addon mesh with tentacles to simuate hair, like the wookie dreads

I have seen actual stock skins used. I've modded for JK2 and you use a program called pakscape to access the game assets. In BZ you use a program to unpack and access the assets as well. I don't see much difference. At the VERY least, the skins can be used as reference for the new skins and models. I really need these models made too.

actual stock skins from jka player models only are allowed. the people that made jka specifically released those files to modders, but not vehicles, weapons, or worlds, or props.

Could somebody please, please, please, re-export the stock Coruscant Jedi Temple models so that they have the correct collision names for BF1? All it should really amount to is imprting into XSI, or whatever modelling program, then renaming the BF2 collisions to BF1 collisions (IE "p_-so-dome01" => "collision01").

Hex-editing this only works so far, so I'd really appreciate this.

OK OK OK!!!! Point made. Can people stop talking about the skins and at least offer to remake the models for me?

Ok, I brought the skin issue up with the Battlezone community and they don't think there is any permission issue. Here are a few quotes:

In other words, the owners have given permission and/or don't care much anyway. So I think I'm gunna (or have a volunteer) convert the original models themselves into MSH and use them.

Did anyone evermake a Cyborg model, or a Addon for cybernetic implants?

I am requesting a proficient character model designer to help create a realistic model that would stay true to an upcoming project I am working on. The Final Empire, Mistborn series. It would basically be a 16-17 year old Girl model (perhaps scaled down existing Sniper model?) with accompanying cloak, and a similiar style of clothing. The Mistborn cloak is a series of strips hanging down from the top, that dangle and flap individually. I recognize that is a tough thing to make, I'd be more happy to have the new model and work on the cloak myself but if the modder wants to assist in that, It would be welcome too.

I intend on creating the rest of the map but Vin is beyond my expertise at this time and I wish to have some help if available :)

Can someone remove the eyes/big tubes from the tusken head? that would be very nice!
