WIP Lambda Shuttle

Hello everybody, I need you all your advice to my Lambda shuttle.
The problem is that i don't know how to remove the polygons.
If i were try to remove them i would destroy my model.
Now I don't know how to get them away. Maybe u know a solution for my problem.
Well however I want to release it so if u have an idea then tell me, pls.

Ps: ignore the error I have to fix it, but first I need to remove the unuseable polygons.

Yes i already textured, but that's not my problem. I
need to remove the useable polygons.... i don't know a good way to remove them.

you gotta remove edgs manually, automatic filtering/reducing detroys everything
well yes, dont delete polygons, delete unneeded edges

Aww, if you were using XSI 6+ you would have GATOR and you could just build a lower poly model around the high poly version and transfer the UVs, a very useful tool...

I dunno how to fix the exporting problem,because all my vertices are weighted to all bones. I also created a bone_root and connected them with the bone_root, but nothing does work.
Now i don't know what to do. T_T

Looks pretty good. I remember negah made one of these last summer. Don't know if he's still around here or not, but he could always give you advice if you run into problems such as your exporting one.

negah neither exported nor textured or uved nor exported his shuttle as far as i know...

You seriously should rebuild the model anyway, it has WAY too many polies.

EDIT: hahaha, I just realized what you were doing wrong, you need to branch select the dummyroot byt middle clicking on it before export, not select all.

Now the map crashs when I'm trying to load the animation >_< some ideas which could help me?

edit2: 21.5.09
tried some other opportunities, but the map is still crashing.
I also followed the tutorial again, but nothing works.
