Awesome. The wood at the back of the gun seems out of place imho, maybe you could add a texture around it to make it fit in abit more? Anyhow, nice work.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread 5th Edition
A cement barrier model for a super-special-awesome-secret m(ap/od).
Those two (technically four) lines you see near the center that look pointless are making it so there are no polygons with five or more sides. I would get rid of the vertices that make it so the edges on the top half aren't needed but they don't seem to want to delete...

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread 5th Edition
If you are talking the long diagonal and short horizontal lines that are made redundant by the short diagonal ones you can try two things.
Select the lines and press delete, I know sounds too easy.
If for some reason that doesn't work select the point where the long diagonal and short horizontal line meet, right click and down near the bottom of the pop up list select Weld points to Target then click on the point right above it. Repeat for all the other points.

I was looking at the stock rebel sniper rifle texture, and got an idea for a cool pistol model. So I made it.

@ marth:
I dunno if you meant those but theyre 100% unnecessary(delete the edges on the other side, too).
@kinetos:
Looks nice! It somehow reminds me of the Fallout 3 pistol/revolver thing.

I'm unfamiliar with Fallout, but after I started making it, it reminded me of the Nerf Maverick.ANDEWEGET wrote: Looks nice! It somehow reminds me of the Fallout 3 pistol/revolver thing.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread 5th Edition
Too much geometric detail that no ones going to really notice when playing the game, a big waste of polygons, follow the pandemic docs poly usage guidelines.

These details would be noticed in first person. I will remove them for the third person model.

Well then in that case...
I spy...
A lot of vertex's not contributing to the shape of the model...

Yeah well, I've talked to him about that.minilogoguy18 wrote:Well then in that case...

He doesn't really care all that much about unnecessary vertices, and for that matter at the end of the day, I don't either. So you're going to see more models from us, and they will be far from "perfect". We don't care about having perfect models.

Here, I removed 3D details so I can use the least possible geometry. Like this better?
Oh, and I UV'ed it. Almost ready for ingame!
