finding a hero for the seps is hard because no one really significent foght in the battle itself. So as tohron already said I think greivous would be the best choice.

Grievous, or a improved magnaguard with staff and stuff or *drum roll* bio-converted sev - means it's Sev from RC with a little chip on the back of his head. This has the advantage that all possible weaponry is already done.

The most canon variant (but also the most boring one) would be OOM-10, an "ordinary" droid commander (grenades, droid blaster rifle, rage)

Grievous would be the best choice since he really was on kashyyyk at that time. :)

Perhaps, Assaji Ventress can be on the CIS side?

According to the Wikipedia these are all the vehicles that were there but as you don't see most of them in the film then maybe you shouldn't include them as realism is what you're going for.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Kashyyyk

As you can see nobody knows the leader and it can't be Dooku or Ventress because they're dead and Grievous is on Utapau so I reckon the best bet is to have just a Droid commander (you know a normal droid with yellow bits on it) because they're in the film.

PS There were 3 jedi on Kashyyyk, Lord_Grievous and MartinK; Yoda, Luminra Unduli and Quinlan Vos.

maganguards with electrostaffs would probably be the best choice, since in Republic Commando you had to fight around 8 of them on kashyyyk

As long as they come in less numbers than any other droids.

I'm sure we can all agree in this that Magnaguards had superior armor and health.

im saying magnaguards should be a hero not a regular unit.

For those of you who do not know, General OOM-9 was the CIS leader at Kashyyyk - a B1 Battledroid.

but the destruction of the Lucrehulk-class Droid Control Ship deactivated all of the Trade Federation's battle droids, including OOM-9,

So OOM-1337 was commander on Kashyyyk.

You should use OOM-9, since he was there.

Hebes24, haven't you read my post above,it says:
but the destruction of the Lucrehulk-class Droid Control Ship deactivated all of the Trade Federation's battle droids, including OOM-9 -> This means that OOM-9 is not working anymore. One of his successors was on Kashyyyk.

I'm sure it said somewhere that OOM-9 was reactivated and was a commander at a few battles until he was destroyed (think he was in the Clone Wars cartoons).

Look at the discussion page (at the top) inparticular. If we're being canon junkies, there are no sources of him being reactivated.

Im pretty sure theres more than one command droid other than OOM-9. Especially when you consider the CIS needed an awful lot of commanders for their armys.
