Nice looking flamethrower, Spider! Very accurate to the original as far as I can tell.

The texture seems somewhat bland and featureless.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
I agree. For a flamethrower it seems too clean-looking. I think the stock is fine but the front could use some stains/scorchs around the barrel area and on the top.Fiodis wrote:The texture seems somewhat bland and featureless.

Forgot to say, the texture's just temporary.
I will work on a darker, scorched skin today.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
i wanted to make this for a long time but first i wasnt experienced enough. now i tried and it workes out well:
DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droid
the model on top is the highpolymodel subdivided, below with wireframe. the modle on the bottom is the "highpolymodel" without subdivisions. i still gotta add some more details, then ill UV the lowpolymodel and make a normalmap form the highpoly

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
In the lowpoly I hope you do remove some of the hair-thin wires, I don' think they will be paid much attention in-game (they look flaky and pixelated in viewer alrdy) Besides that, its a marvelous jobDarthD.U.C.K. wrote: DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droidHidden/Spoiler:

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
the model on the bottom isnt the lowpolymodel, its the highpolymodel unsubdivided.
for the lowpoly i made a simple grid along the wires and ill make it transparent where it doesnt touch the wires
