Zelda Anyone?
I recently ordered the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess for the GCN. I have heard it is one of the best games ever created. I was wondering if anyone had it, and what they thought of it. Thanks.

Vyse does. I really like Zelda and RPGs in general personally but Vyse is Link himself. Check out his website.

Heh. I need a Wii to get it. I'm definitely not getting it for my GCN.

All I'm going to say is that I didn't like Ganon (not Ganondorf), the Dark Beast in this game and prefered the one from Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past.

So far I'm stuck in the "creature of the mountains" "house" (as to not give away spoilers). It's really frustrating, but in general this game has to be one of the best I've played this year.
.
It's lucky that I've seen a certain cutscene or I would've come round your colicoid swarm of a house and torn your head off by now for revealing such a big spoilerDroideka88 wrote:All I'm going to say is that I didn't like ***** (not *********), the Dark Beast in this game and prefered the one from Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past.

Re: Zelda Anyone?
Yes, it is a masterpiece. And you will enjoy it even more with the GCN controler over the Wii remote! Unfortunetly I felt the game didn't offer to much for the hard-core Zelda fan in some aspects, so if your new to Zelda you will enjoy it even more!Kaos4 wrote:I recently ordered the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess for the GCN. Pros:
Excellent Gameplay
Great Music
Horse battles PWN!
Cons:
Almost to linear
Graphics are good but in areas of the game there are terrible textures etc. (It's a GCN game not a Wii game)
Story could of used some more twists

Shall I melt your ice because I said before that I've only seen videos of TP and played it once at my friend's house.The_Emperor wrote:Thats it. I'm freezing myself. See you all in the future, I'll be in the fridge.

RE: Re: Zelda Anyone?
I actually found the music to be rather disappointing. Some of the music is really weak in places and sounds like it was recorded with a less than up-to-date microphone. Also, that familiar chime when you solve a puzzle almost never comes out of my speaker properly, and even then it sounds weak.Vyse wrote:Pros:

The dark, eerie music on the other hand, has to be some of the best music I've heard in a Zelda/Nintendo game. I have a habit of watching the entire beginning cutscene just to hear the eerie bit of music at the end when the wolf howls.
This game takes so looooong... not that I'm complaining, but so far I haven't really discovered any side quests apart from fixing uh... something very big. LoL. You just move from one dungeon to the next, with maybe a quest in between from time to time.
I'm actually liking the story so far. Certainly I never expected what happened after the water temple and before the arbiter grounds. That was a huge shock.Story could of used some more twists
Ya know... there's always some random gameplay movies on YouTubeUnlimited Powaaaaaaar wrote:Thats it. I'm freezing myself. See you all in the future, I'll be in the fridge.
Also guys, google Speed Demo Archives. There's a thread on speedrunning Zelda: Twilight Princess that's over 50 pages long (and the thread's only been up for a month!) There's spoilers abound, but there's also a ton of gameplay movies, tricks and glitches that might come in useful
Merry Christmas for one hour and fourty-five minutes time!

I'm typing this from inside the fridge: It's cold, and I'm not frozen yet. I guess I'm used to cold temperatures but oh well I'll just wait untill I'm frozen whilst waiting for the Wii. Grr.
Anyway, I promised myself not to read any spoilers, walkthroughs, no advice/stories from friends, I'm gonna do this one all by myself. It's the most fun that way
