Try lowering the Poly count on the hilt, other than that nice work so far.

A nice model, though the cross-hilt section seems a bit off - the ends sort've bell or fan out.

Maybe sending files through xfire isn't working for him, I have that problem...

Or, maybe he didn't knoe that it's possible to send files though xfire.
