Hi all,

I have a problem and was hoping you guys could help me out.

I was able to create and add a custom era to a few stock maps, and it worked just fine. Then I added my custom era to Marvel4's "Bespin Cloud City" and "Bespin Platforms" maps. Those also worked just fine.

Then, doing everything the same, I tried adding my era to Kashyyyk docks, but the era doesn't appear in the selection box, it doesn't show up, it works on all the other maps I added it to, but not kashyyyk docks.

Sooo, I figured it might just be that map, so I tried adding my era to all of the other maps from Marvel's BF1 Convo pack. None of them work except for the two Bespin maps! All the stock maps work too.

Anyways, I don't come asking for help too often, I prefer to figure most things out on my own, but this one has me stumped. I've triple checked everything, I didn't do anything different with the Bespin maps that I didn't do with the Kashyyyk map.

BTW I'm not posting my scripts, because I've checked them over a thousand times, and they're the same as the ones that do work. What I'm hoping is that someone else might've had this problem and knows how to fix it. Otherwise I'm outta luck.

I'm pretty sure it can only show a few eras at once.

This is a known issue where it doesn't like adding eras to maps if their mapid starts with a certain letter. I had to deal with this issue back when I was adding my The Clone Wars mod to Marvel4's Convo maps.

I forget, but I think the only solution is to replicate the original map's addon.script and add the era that way. Which is best done with the original addon.lua files.

Thanks for answering man. I went back and tried what you said, and I got Geonosis Spire to work, but adding other maps caused it to stop working and then I tried a bunch of different stuff which all ultimately failed.

If it'd be possible for you to post your addme.lua that worked for you that'd be nice, but if it's too much trouble don't bother and I'll just give up on this and be happy with the two Bespin Maps.

It's not a total loss, all the stock maps work.

What? I've never heard of that before.

I'd guess someone didn't update their addon script to use MergeTables() (see the era tutorial: forums/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=27616) and whenever their scripts adds to that map it wipes out everyone else's custom eras.
