2. howto change with GIMP a color to another like all red to green.
3. what is the differents between a normal vehicle, a dome model and a _sc model ?

1: hold down shift and you can raise/lower nodes
2: theres millions of tutorials for this, just search on google
3: normal vehicle = a model designed to be a vehicle, sometimes will have bones and animations.
dome model = model that is used for the sky textures to go on
_sc models are updated models from SWBF 1 for SWBF II (I think... (sc = spacecraft))

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe dome model vehicles are just low-poly models, and they're used in the sky as a background feature. The ISDs and whatnot you see flying above in ground battles are dome models.

They [dome models] are very low quality small props without any collision and poorly arranged polys. They are meant for background in certain maps to make it look more like a big battle. See Space Coruscant and you can see thousands of them in the background

I believe the save space (physical and memory) if you put them in your map instead of full capital ships and frigates.

I don't believe that the sc means anything :?
