Clumsy as I always am I didn't do it right and missed the line where you said it should work with 1.0! I can report it works for 1.0 on my end. I'll go over everything I can to see how everything does. Thanks for this great mod/patch! Using lite version at this time.

Sorry if your done taking requests or anything, but I have a request. :?

In the patch you got Darth Vader's suit to look more black, do you think you could do the same for Palpatine's? Not sure if it would wreck any online capibilities, though many other units are changed...

Yeah, I'm still taking requests because I forgot I need someone to make a Halo icon... Can someone make me a Halo era icon? However, RapSharpShooter did all the side modes. I don't know how he make the suit darker. If someone wanted to make the change for Palpatine I can add it in...

:cry: I guess I'll do the public release on the weekend no matter if the final issues are cleaned up or not

On 1.0 with Lite version I get odd assault mode descriptions and similair thing in the player list buttons

v1.0 doesn't handle the localization strings well for mods. Thats one of the things the v1.1 patch fixes/adds. The Space Assault and Hero Assaults strings and icons were linked. To fix their game modes, I had to split them up and give them different keys. It looks like any custom string won't be displayed correctly.

I named all the string keys their English value but without any spaces. The first column (not counting the Back button) is the AI follows, second is mark player and the teleporting buttons, third is player tracking, and fourth is to boot no-namers. You're out of luck with the FakeConsole description. I'm not retyping all of those. I could export all the strings and just dump them into the docs folder...

I see. Been using player menu commands a bit now so a little memorization of the columns hasn't been a problem at all. Ignoring that I give green light on Lite version being very compatible with a clean 1.0 install, Haven't found anything broken :thumbs:.

I don't know off the top of my head and it has to be in a certain format. You can look through the source files on my website to find an example. Look for all_icon.tga in data_LVL\Common\interface (or some place like that... Can't give you the direct link as its blocked from work.)

Finally had some time to test it today! One thing I noticed in the Fake Console is there is no Team 1 Force Victory command. Is it supposed to be that way, like it auto detects what team your on or something? Oh, and if its not to late could you have a Fake Console command to restore back to the default settings? I was playing around with some of them (by the way, love the new commands :P ) and I used the command where it changes your view, I think its change field of view, anyway, it took me forever to get back close to the default view by guessing. If you could add a command that could restore all of the commands that would would be great.

I have just one problem. When I play Battle Arena, all the weapons icons float and they didn't do that when I had the 1.2 patch. Is there any way I can fix this?

I will look into the missing team victory...

It is not possible to make it restore your old values. There is no way to get the currents values before changing them, so it is not possible to know what they need to be restored to. Even the Remove JetPacks and Normal Speeds don't restore the original values but attempt to set ones near the game's defaults. Luckily, loading the map resets everything back to their defaults.

I don't think the source code I got for the v1.2 was its shipped version. If I know the weapon names (and I will if someone tells me them) then I might be able to fix it...

Revision 112 (Full-109MB, Lite-5.62MB)
  • Supports getting the current map's char code and loaded layer/mode (ingame vars __thisMapsCode__ and __thisMapsMode__)
  • Change required installation location to addon\AAA-v1.3patch
  • *Supports unlimited game modes
  • *Supports unlimited eras
  • Provides a 499 mission limit warning
  • Attempts to remove missions over 499 from the map list
  • Added era Halo (h) and game mode Instagib (ins) (though new modes/eras doesn't really matter anymore)
  • Added FakeConsole command: Jedi Jumps
  • Fixed Prompt_popup and settings files bugs
  • A few localization updates
  • Added some more documentation
  • *You can change all of the names/descriptions/icons to whatever you want, but you have to use one of the existing 28 eras or 39 game modes
If you guys don't find any other problems with this version then its the final version. Please let me know.

Also, don't forget about the changed installation location. I changed it because the 'mission checker' needed to be an addme.script and I wanted to keep as much as possible contained in a single folder. I haven't tested it, but I do know people have gotten custom user scripts to work on their dedicated servers. The more you server admins can stuff into those, the less you need to be ingame enforcing your different rules.

I'm moving again in a month, so my website is going down sometime after the 12th of November.

Only problem I've encountered is this version cannot remove that custom hud. Keeps giving me this error
