Changing the aiming sight

Post by Null_Clone_Assasin »

this may sound like a dumb question but is there a way to change the aiming sight to different shapes for different weapons? :?

if not is there a way to get the aiming sight on a sniper rifle (my snipers dont have aiming sights) or take them off other weapons? :?

(sorry if this question has been asked before)

thanks :)

I believe there is a way to re-skin scopes. Look around the MSH and PC folders.

For the second question, it's an easy weapon odf edit.

ReticuleInAimingOnly = 1

This takes the unzoomed reticle out, like for a sniping weapon.

ReticuleInAimingOnly = 0

Obviously, this leaves the reticle in no matter whether you're zoomed or not.

the actual scope textures are in the Common folder (NOT the side Common) msh file i belive. They should be under the PC folder inside. There was a topic not too long ago that explained this, just look in the past page or two
