Re: Geonosis: Landing At Point Rain
ok this post refers wayyy back when you wanted to make some LA whatevers fly in carrying ATTE's. What if you made a model where ATTE's are attached to the LA whatevers and when you they come in and land in the area, you have them vanish and be replaced by an ATTE and a LA whatever in the smae position, and animate the LA whatevers to fly away. (that is unless of course, you were planning on actually flying them.)

Re: Geonosis: Landing At Point Rain
there would be little point to flying transport laat/c gunships, so useing the method he uses is fine, have the atte prop dissapear and have a spawn placed at the same time, then have the laat/c fly awaySAMofBIA wrote:ok this post refers wayyy back when you wanted to make some LA whatevers fly in carrying ATTE's. Re: Geonosis: Landing At Point Rain
are you saying that what i said would be good, or did you think that i meant him flying it in in my post? cause i dont really get what your saying since i just said for them to fly in as props.there would be little point to flying transport laat/c gunships, so useing the method he uses is fine, have the atte prop dissapear and have a spawn placed at the same time, then have the laat/c fly away

Re: Geonosis: Landing At Point Rain
i thought that Darth_spiderpig already said that he didnt want them to be driveable and had just set them there from the start of the map. srry if im incorrect.

The map takes place during the time when the cis is attacking the defensive circle out of AT-TEs and Laat/is the Republic built up.
So no Laat/c carrying an AT-TE to the battle anymore.

Re: Geonosis: Landing At Point Rain
If there is anybody who thinks this may be dead, it isn't.
It happens to be a time where I haven't got too much time (school, but mainly CoD:BO)
Plus, it seems xfire doesn't accept my screens anymore, and I am too lazy to upload them.
But for an update-y note, I have added a local side of Geonosians aiding the droids to defend the main target of the republic, the shield generator.
And, for the visual experience and a little bit gameplay, I added a cave entrance where they spawn from, which is destructable to seal the exit. (Thanks for DarthD.U.C.K. and Sky_216 for allowing me to use parts of their models for this)

Do you then get a massive buildup of Geos on the other side that attack the rocks?
Cod BO? I thought something smelt fishy.

I decided to show you the updates I have, but it actually isn't that much.
And a Gunship shot.

I thought the first ones were the passengers of the shot-down gunships of the 212th.

Re: Geonosis: Landing At Point Rain
(just my opinion)
Since it is in the Clone Wars (animated), why don't you use ANDE's TCW clone troopers?
