i can only hope that you make this dwarf spider working :bowdown: cause there is an unforgiveable lack of maps with this walkers

Unforgiveable? theres at least 4 maps with these spider droids in them, and the spider droid is relatively new, so be patient

but have i said that there are no maps with dwarf spiders at all
im just a very BIG fan of all kinds of walkers so excuze me if i sound a bit annoying :angel:

now ontopic i dont really remember if there were some dwarfs in the film

Still a WIP here... been workin on it randomlly from time to time. Need some help though. Im using the landed rep assault ship model with the hanger+landing gear, but it has no lowrez geometry in the model (really bad). You cant see the ship unless your right in front of it. There is a separate file thats the lowrez version though, is there some way i can specifly for it to use that msh as the lowrez? If not, im going to need someone to package the lowrez MSH with the normal MSH, like props are suppose to be made.

:UPDATE:

Okay, I got ingame unit customization working!

The code is actually pretty simple. Ingame you move up to what ever weapon you want (there is weapon model props), then go reselect the unit at a CP and bam.
There is one unit you can customize, the rest are defaults.
Heres the weapons i plan to add to the customization

--First weapon slot--
Light weapons
DC-15S Carbine
DC-15S Shotgun
DC-19 Carbine
ARC caster
Medium weapons (slow unit down slightly)
DC-15a Rifle
DC-15X Sniper
ARC Rifle
Heavy weapons (slow unit down alot)
PLX missile launcher
PLX remote missile launcher
PLX rocket launcher (rockets dont have lock-on, but more ammo per clip)
EMP launcher
Z6 Rotary laser cannon
Dispensable E-Web

-Second weapon slot--
WESTAR-15 (what i named the basic pistol)
DC-15s Pistol (unlimited ammo)
DC-17 Blaster
Fusion Cutter
Bacta Gun

--Third Slot--
Frag Grenade
Thermal det
EMP grenade
Concussive grenade
Ion Grenade (stuns vehicles, making the vehicles unusable for 8 seconds)
Recon Droid

--Fourth Slot--
Time Bombs
Mines
Detpacks
Health & Ammo
Combat amplifier
Auto-Turret
EMP wave (like magna guard poison for clone side)
Stealth

if i get my back-pack model addon exported and positioned, youll be able to choose a shield generator, extra ammo and some other stuff. And when you do a back-pack will appear on the unit.

This is just a bunch of SetClassProperty stuff. The reason it's not used more is because it modifies the whole class and not the individual user, so it can only be used in cases where there's a one-player-only unit (a la this or my RPG).

The landed Acclamator ship wont appear far away and is really annoying... why??
Its like... really pissin me off.. it needs fixing right now. :runaway:
I think it doesnt have any lowrez geometry. THere is a separate lowrez version of the model though... so im going to get someone to import it for me to edit it in maybe...

Im not going forward with the customization until this is fixed, because i plan to have rooms in the ship where all the weapons will be. I might hide a few around the map too.


Anyways, fred had a AT-ST boarding pad on his sight and im useing it for the AT-XTs. Heres a shot of it in the Acclamator ship.

ALso, in the pic you can see the HUD problem. I PMed Fragme bout it but he hasnt answered yet... :(

The AT-XT's in the Acclamator is a great idea but I'm not so sure about transports. The AI might start a kamikaze the moment they start the engines. One or two AT-TE's coming down from the hangar would be better and a few more already on the battlefield.

And whats that white thing? Looks like a grenade but looks more like toilet paper to be honest. (sorry if offended)

The AI are perfectley fine with the LAATs. THey fly em' out fine, shoot at droids for a couple minutes, then crash into one of the spires. But i havnt added the AI barriers let so eventually resolved. In addition I have automated LAATs flying around to give more atmosphere to the map.

The "Toilet Paper" :lol: is a thermal det (look at the back of the clones belt) It looks crapy now cause its the old model useing the new models texture. If you want to see the new version of it, look at my TBFP thread.

It does already. You can use it too. Theres a pilot, main laser gunner (with a big-flippen-blow-up-everything-in-its-path laser) and a side gunner.
