I am not sure what you're talking about, but if you have a question that doesn't directly relate to the topic at hand, please direct it to me via PM.

Somewhat more on topic but still probably off-topic: Speaking of Umbridge, did you ever notice that in Fred and George's shop there were doll-sized mechanical Umbridges going back and forth throughout the shop on lines of string?

They can actually be heard saying, "There will be order in my classroom!".

Okay, to just give my opinion.. I've seen the movie twice now, in different theaters. One was really big, with a terrible quality (compared to others) and one was smaller, but dolby digital, it was beautiful

First of all, seeing all things they added.. The millenium bridge collapsing, it was unbelievable (especially when you think of the fact the bridge is still there) and they did a really good job on this scene.. It brings some questions to the audience, I think, like; why Olivander's? It also shows how the muggle, and wizard world get more and more strangled with each other (right word?)

After the dark scene and rollercoaster of flying death eaters, we get the part, I believe, covers most time of the movie: Professor Horus' memories. Dumbledore already gives us the hint of the Hocruxes, with his hand looking creapy.

As on the other hand, I kindoff really enjoyed the humor in the 'romance' scenes; let's not forget we're seeing the same actors and characters in 8 movies, so I think it's really good to share some teenage-problems of them with us, since they're in that age now. In the first, not so good theater, everyone was laughing, and I enjoyed the movie as a comedy, more as a Harry Potter film. The second theater however, was not so laughable, and sometimes a small laugh about Ron's stupid comments was all. The fact maybe that this audience was way more silenced, and focused on the main story line made the movie a bit darker, or interesting for me.. At least, it seemed.

The final scenes were indeed, a bit short. I do like how Malfoy was shot in scenes through the whole movie, it adds questions like 'What are his intentions?' Besides, Professor Snape has this as well. In the second theater, the moment that they entered the cave, was already scary. Everyone was full focused, which made me very nervous, although I read the book like 10 times, and the movie was seen before. The scene of Dumbledore drinking the poison, with the dramatic music, till the moment that Snape 'betraits' him, made the audience's eyes all clutchered onto the screen (God i'm so bad in english) In the end, I even heard some tears falling when Dumbledore lay there, with Harry on Ginny's shoulder.

My opinion is that this is the best of the Harry Potter movies, since it really focuses on the main story line going through all movies (although it kindoff started in part 4)

I must say, that Rowling did an amazing job on this, thinking about it.. The first 3 movies looked completely useless to me, but besides the development of the main characters, more and more elements keep coming back, and you'll feel sorry if you missed one part..

I didn't like how in the last part
Hidden/Spoiler:
Harry acts as though he's scared to defend Dumbledore
,
whereas in the book,
Hidden/Spoiler:
Harry cant defend him because he's been body-bound.

Hidden/Spoiler:
I agree with that, plus it takes out the whole "Somebody's coming, Harry gets frozen and doesn't know how for about five minutes." And really, with all the DADA stuff Harry knows, it wouldn't be impossible to stun the lot of them before they knew what was happening. But, of course, we wouldn't get the explanation of how Harry got body-bound, because he realizes it in his head, and they can't very well show us a characters thoughts when they can't speak.

Okay, saw it.
Rupert Grint (Ron) was my favorite of the three kids. I don't really like either of the other 2.
I really dislike Michael Gambon (Richard Harriss was 100x better).
They really left out a lot though, and added in some new things, like
Hidden/Spoiler:
the burrow burning part
, and they also added in
Hidden/Spoiler:
that death eaters can fly.
I thought it was good, but not as good as some other movies I've seen lately.

I actually liked how they handled it in the movie.

Think of everything else the movie would have to include in order for Harry bringing the invisibility cloak with him to make any sense (apparating from Hogsmeade, Madame Rosmerta being possessed by Malfoy, the message coins from OOTP, etc).

And now Harry can feel partially responsible for Dumbledore's death, since he could have stopped Snape or at least done something. Plus I think Dumbledore's last line to Harry ("Trust me.") is very significant given the fact that we (at least those of us who have read the series) know that this is all planned.

Saw it a few weeks ago. I liked Malfoy the best... he did a good job being a death eater.
Don't like how they handled Dumbledore's death though, with Harry just standing there and watching them.
And they left out most of the school parts. There was only one lesson in the whole movie, but in the book there are over four potion lessons and at least two defense against the dark arts lessons with Snape as the teacher.

I can't believe they missed out
Hidden/Spoiler:
Dumbledore's funeral!
The thing they did at the end was a nice touch but also sad.

It was a pretty good movie, but I would of liked to see the first chapter. Snape's house was totally different to what I imagined.

Rumor has it that Dumbledore's funeral will be the opening scene for the next movie.

Hehe. Let's hope he wouldn't pull an Emma Thompson and not come back until the second part.

Yeah, I know that, what i meant was how Emma Tomphson isn't coming back for the second part, because of how small the screentime would be for her. Screentime would be pretty small for Dumbledore if his only scene was in a coffin too.

And Dumbledore isn't really a ghost, is he? I always thought he looked completely real, granted all in Harry's head.

Or perhaps he's just a psychic hologram created by the aliens to subliminally influence Harry to rebuild the mothership using wizard technology.

Wizard... technology? You mean twigs and flying bowling balls?
