Re: Beach Troopers
Well when I play the beach trooper era and select any map its compatible with it crashes even before it loads!
Then I Alt-Tab out of it and There is this message box that says could not find MISSION/whatever the maps name is.lvl
That enough

Re: Beach Troopers
Sounds like you either have too many maps/mods installed at once. Move some out of your addon folder.RedFaceofAwesomeness wrote:Well when I play the beach trooper era and select any map its compatible with it crashes even before it loads!

You probably had too many missions or map folders in your addon.

Not to speak for Mav, but I'm pretty confident this mod is done.
On top of that,
So the Jedi would have to have waterguns, so it wouldn't really be a good hero. Beach Jedi would be a no for me.Maveritchell wrote:-Weapons/things - Someone mentioned a noodle fight, and this is actually a good idea given that it was already in line with where my thoughts had been. However, I decided to scrap it given that I wanted this to be "water fight" only.

Re: Beach Troopers
Just tried it out for the first time, it was pretty fun, I really like the sides. One suggestion though: if you ever release an update for this mod, remember to include instructions on how to use the decoy targets in Survival.
I was at a loss of what to do with them, at first I thought I was supposed to use them to distract the enemy Beach Troopers, and it actually worked... to an extent... a Wampa left me alone and went for the Decoy, giving me an opportunity to soak him while the decoy was "tanking" the damage for me, most of the time they just ignored it and shot at me though, I felt like I was doing something wrong; then I found Vace Thermill's grapling hook, I started looking around for hooks but I found none. So I decided to read the read-me (as I should have done in the first place) to learn more about the mechanics, but there was no mention of Decoys or the Grappling Hook whatsoever, I had to come here to read the thread, which admittedly wasn't such a big deal, but still... Maybe I'm just slow to catch on, but I feel that sort of thing should be mentioned in the read-me.
It's a cool mod, anyway.
