Hello when i wanna munge my swbf2 map for the first time it just say file added to addon or something like that, but its not munging any file.
So when i look into swbf2 addon folder there is a folder called ABC or any world name i choosed and when i start game i can also launch my map but then it crashes.
i worked with mod tools before so i kniow a bit about modding and then my maps were just working great.
Also sometimes when i wanna create my folder "Data_ABC" i get this error:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library<-thats the title
Runtime Error
Program D:\BF2_ModTools\data\_build\Modtools VisualMunge.exe
abnormal program termination.
i personally think its something about my microsoft visual studio cuz C++ is pc languange im also learning.
But maybe its something to do with swbf2 mod tools and i thougt you guys can help me.
BTW: I never posted something before on this forums so HELLO, but i readed alot of forums.....

Its not that. I updated that and it did no good with ZE.teetie wrote: i personally think its something about my microsoft visual studio cuz C++ is pc languange im also learning.
Try these things:
Run VisualMunge with 3D-Analyze
Update your graphics card drivers
Change the compatibility mode for VisualMunge
Change your display settings to Highest 32 bit
Install the BF2 Modtools as Administrator
Right click on the VisualMunge.exe and "Run as Administrator"
Disable User Account Control (UAC) for administrators
Download and install the .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package.

You're right in that it's not Visual Studio, but you don't realize that there's a difference with VisualMunge and ZeroEditor. The only suggestions you made that might help are the few I left in the list above.501st_commander wrote:Its not that. Etc.
For any other help, I'd suggest searching the site, there are numerous topics made about this very problem. Just make sure that you check for VisualMunge and not Zeroeditor.

Re: Visualmunge doing weird
Ok i did some things and now i get an error that says:
Program: D:\BF2_ModTools\data\_BUILD\visualmunge.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
please contact the application`s support team for more information.
and i just found out that i can get both errors if i run the application as administator i get the error above and if i run it normal i get the other error...
i remember that when i first modded i had something like this and i fixed it but i forgot...
Now i think it has something to do where you swbf2 is installed and the Mod tools
Edit:I can also get an error saying "acces denied" now

Re: Visualmunge doing weird
Could you elaborate on the Access Denied thing, because I'm not sure what you mean/ how you got it. Also, the two Runtime errors are the same, it just appears different the second time because you are running as administrator.
