Hi im trying to get one of my models on the guy or another weapon but it only shows the weapon before the one I want to put on.

If this makes it clear great. I want new weapon on guy but instead of putting it on nothing happens. yes my odfs are right. It almost like its not munging it,

Can you possibly rephrase that and use more specific terms? It's very hard to understand.

You can open your original weapons odf and change the geometry to the shape of your new weapon.

Then replace some of the other odfs (EX- ord) to your custom weapons odf?

ok i have a m16 on my guy but I want a sniper rifle on him. So I change the weapon from the m16 to the sniper in the odf and munge. But when I get into the game he is still holding the m16 even though the odf says sniper.

Are you trying to change the model of a weapon or how it works? When you say "m16" or "sniper rifle" are you referring to a model or an ODF? It would be easier if you post your ODFs.

well i think its something wrong with map idc because it was only a test map.

That involves scripting (LUA) to change the weapons that units are using, im pretty sure anyway im only new but what I have heard that is how its done and when I get more educated on the subject I will post more about

If it is a model change he is trying to implement, you can't use LUA to change a weapon's model (though you can load a new weapon odf that is essentially identical save for the model).

You can change which weapons units use via LUA, but it's much easier to do it by ODF.

I am not really a scripter, I find it a boing process socoul you please explain how to do it with ODFs it would really help me out thx
