I'd scale that force pike at around 0.75, but other than that, it looks nice.

phhht... ya right. The only one that I know of that can make new anims is Gogie.
In other news, i have been trying to get the AI more challenging. Ive adjusted a number of weapons so AI use them.
All force pushs/pulls - (the choke attacks aren't possible though)
Timebombs - I made the timebomb a grenade type weapon, so they know how to use them correctely
Recon droids self destruct - It now fires a grenade that immediately hits the ground and explodes (Doesn't work if you have ff off though)
And i recently looked at wookiepedia and saw that apparently, a thermal detonator explosion either hits and kills you, or doesn't hit and kill you... so i adjusted it to be like that.
Jedi's can't take bases any more either, to easy win that way.

Choke is a really limited (although unique) weaponclass. I had to make an attack with similar effects to choke for my Sullust map (Force Whirlwind), and I was limited by choke because I couldn't add effects to it. Although I couldn't make it so that the whirlwind was maintained while holding the button, I did create a semi-choke-like effect by making it have a dual ordnance, one with a push and one with a pull. If you're not to snuffed up about having your choke be able to be held down, I could send you my force whirlwind ordnance and let you work off of that (btw it's an emitterordnance, like push, so AI can use it).Syth wrote:All force pushs/pulls - (the choke attacks aren't possible though)

If you want, I can see about making a new pose for the force pike... I've done a lot of looking into the animation system, just never really got anything in game. At one point I had been pretty close to making a new skeleton, I think.

I haven't tried animating yet, but i guess a stand_idle is one or 2 frames... So would that be really difficult???

No, a stand_idle can be however many frames you want. The number of frames in an animation doesn't really make a difference in how hard it is to create.

@ t551, If its not trouble (it's not vital to BFP cause the guards only on a couple maps), go at it. theres nothing wrong with new anims!
BFP NEWS: For some reason, i wasnt able to get force push/pull chargeable, but i did something(forgot what) and now you can charge it up! which is nice. And i took away jangos anims on durge so he could have the correct skeleton, but dont worry, i was able to make some wrist type weapons with the sbd wrist muzzle thing from the convert pack assets.

It seems when ever i get closer to completion theres just more to add or another idea. hugh...
Im doing custom anim sets. Anakins now has dooku's jump and lukes spinny attack as the heavy attack. Did one for emperor. There was a unused anim for yodas dash attack, and it works :yodaful: . As well, i fixed that annoying anim problem where dooku puts his had down while useing lightening and it looks like hes shootin it out his mouth, by replaceing it with vader's force attack anim.
