ok, here is my review:
the first thing you notice about this map when you spawn is the sky. with light bloom on, you're going to get blinded. its pretty bad without it aswell. there was a topic about this in the modding section a while ago, try looking for that. i know you're trying to fix this, though.
there are some very nice units on this map. the republic skins are very nice, though some look on the tad side painty. however, in saying this, some of the cis vehicle, and the super battle droid skins look awfully painty, almost cartoonish, it doesn't fit the map.
next, there is a severe, and when i say severe, i mean SEVERE lack of units on the battlefield(for me?). there was no one to shoot! it must of taken me about 10 minutes to unlock the commander without capturing the cp's. look up how to set uber mode in the FAQ/Everything you Need topic.
the map itself is very nice. the tunnels that kind of connect all the hangars and inside bases are very nice, i think they
are reskinned, and they look good. the map is quite nice too, the crystals are nice, though the first time i saw them, i walked straight into them to get a better look. maybe put some steam coming out of them to show "these are dangerous!"
i'm not sure that there was any planning on this map. there were atte's getting stuck, units falling into crystals, IFT's getting stuck on objects and all that.
there are also a few small errors, like localization, and missing tunnels, so you just fall out of the map. the terrain height was also a bit edgy.
overall, it's a nicely done map, well built, and nicely done on the tunnels and units. problem was, it became a bit boring
after a while, there weren't enough units on the battlefield, they were all in tunnels, and it was a bit too big perhaps. very nice map though!

here are some pics, there are a few of these floating tunnels. small, but worth fixing.

i agree for the most part but i dont think you need to make any changes to the map just fix some bugs and add more units, will post more bugs if i find them

2ed pix: go the cp5 with LOTS of men with you, the cis get stuck back there. I'll see about the uber mode so there are more units. thanks

Here are some small holes in the tunnel running from CP 4. The last one is from the right of the hanger with the deathstar plans.

Edit: also found this dont know what it is but its on top of the hangers and the jawa hero only has one basic attack in the combo so he only slashes once

That is the top of the hanger. i'll see whats wrong with the jawa.

Btw sampip, if you want more units add more AI and raise reinforcements. Then you could have a large battle with a good # of units. :wink:

Edit: 501st, I know you are quite far in but, a Jawa as a hero doesn't really go with the theme or even Hoth for that matter. If you have the time, you might want to change it to something more fitting.

but that wasn't what i was talking about :lol: . to have more than 32 AI at once you need to set uber mode, which allows that. otherwise, 32 is the max per team, and he's gonna need a fair bit more than that, then he could have a large battle with a good number of units.
to set uber mode, you have to put

 conquest:Start()

SetUberMode(1); 
put the uber mode line right after the conquest start one. then raise your re-inforcement count to something like... 75?
oh and if you do, make sure you raise your soldier animation pool to about 800:

    SetMaxFlyHeight(30)
    SetMaxPlayerFlyHeight (30)
    
    
    SetMemoryPoolSize ("SoldierAnimation", 800)
put the soldier animation pool line just above the other memory pools, and below those two lines. now it should work. and if you want to have more than 4 droidekas, you can change that using the walker count:

    AddWalkerType(0, 4) -- special -> droidekas
you can change 4 to something higher if you like.

I played it but my game crashed, but it's not the map because other maps crashed too. I think I fixed it though. Will continue to work on it.
