Slants in Battlefront II, or any angle the player can't walk up, simply make the player start the falling animation but the slope or angle moves the player to the edge of the slope to continue his / her fall. There is no actual animation simulating sliding. Dann's maps simply have units that move too fast for the walk animation and feet to stay synced with the animation and thus default to an idle animation. The animation mentioned by PsYcH0_]-[aMsT3r that looks like you reach down to touch the ground is simply the electrify or fall animation. I suppose it might be possible to change the speed at which the walk / run animation cuts out and the player defaults to the sliding animation, but if it is possible it would be hard to do and wouldn't be worth it. See, that's the thing; even if there was a way to do this, it wouldn't be worth it unless it was simply a "proof of concept."

Now that I think of it, MetalcoreRancor has done many modifying and odd things with animations and combos. You may want to try contacting him--he may be able to help you more than we can.

C'mon guys, how many ways do we have to say "no" before the idea gets across?

To the OP: Plain and simple, it can't be done like you want.
To everyone else: All those workarounds are sketchy at best, and none would really work. Trust me.

This topic is going the route of the "can we do prone" topics. Ergo, lock.
