YOU ROCK TEANCUM! And I haven't even played it yet. Will this be the last version? Or will you release new versions as your secret vehicles are revealed? I'm glad the loaction was changed to Bothawui; I didn't like Geonosis. I have some vehicle ODFs for you to test, if I have the ability to send them (stupid dial-up).

This is by no means the last version. There's still more vehicles to get done. Those that were removed are either released or are ready to be. So if you all miss those vehicles, don't worry, they'll eventually be release or are already.

Please note that the two newest vehicles, the Cydon Prax Tank and the Republic Ground Transport I literally just put in-game and rar'd. So they are very 'unpolished'. I'm going to try and get on Fred about a few vehicles that need just a bit of mesh work to complete so we can really roll these things out.

Again, if you don't see anything in awhile, don't worry. I've just a lot to do in my Game Development class at the university. The Tech Map lives on until we've got all the unused vehicles finished.

Don't have room on my server for a zip file. There's rar utilities for both Windows and Mac. If you have Windows, download WinRAR.

If you use MacOS, you can download an utility called RAR, built in order to extract *.RAR files on this platform...

Ahh man, i think im gonna re-install BF1 now, so many sweet maps and mods. And it don't look like we'll be having tools any time soon.

http://www.7-zip.org/ This program opens rars plus it also has better compresion then rar.

Just FYI gang, there aren't that many more vehicles to finish, so there probably won't be that many more versions of Tech Map. Originally I just did it to have a place to test assets. I didn't know it was going to get big!

So far, here's what Fred and I are working on that you haven't seen:

-TIE Advanced X1 (may have shown this once) XWA Upgrade conversion
-CIS MUT -- basically just a transport. As I recall there are no weapons mounted on it
-BARC Speeder
-ARC-170
-CIS "Snail Tank"
-CIS Mortar Tank --- oh wait, that's in this version. Kinda buggy, though.

I have some others on my hard drive from XWA, but who knows if they'll ever see the light of day with the amount of work this takes. But, if for nothing else then to get you guys to coax me, here's what's sitting on my drive, but not in-game yet.

-Anakin's Modified Delta-7 Jedi Starfighter (complete with cockpit)
-B-Wing (until we crack animations, it has to keep sitting there. It looks gay without the animation)
-Z-95 Headhunter
-Assault Gunboat (anyone else sick of TIEs?)

The gtrans I think its called (transport on the republic side) is buggy. When your in the passenger slot you can shoot. I think it would be cool if the mortar tank sort of had the main weapon be like the ordance from the mortar launcer. So it is like artillery

Same goes for the Mortar Tank. I put them in, then munged and zipped because I don't have time to fix em right now. I wanted everyone to see, though.

Tean', do you know whether psych0fred will release the "C.I.S. Mortar Tank", the "Cydon Prax Tank" and the "Republic Ground Transport" source files soon ? Or must we wait for the "stable releases" of these vehicles, first ? :|

Fred and I need to finish a lot up on those three. The Mortar Tank has buggy collision, so we have to do a new collision mesh. The Prax Tank has no hardpoints for weapons -- yet anyways, and the the Ground Transport is missing parts of the model. For instance, if you look on the front of the model, you'll see one offset cannon. I think there's supposed to be one on each side.

To answer your question, I dunno. I guess I need to 'knuckle down' on Fred, lol. Once we have final models, I have no quams with finishing the ODF's rathter quickly (though they won't feel rushed, they'll feel right).

I figure once I get a final model for any vehicle from Fred, I can release the completed vehicle in less than a week.

Fred's been working a lot on a website, so it's hard to draw his attention back to XSI. I'll try to talk to him this weekend for you, though.
