hello,
how can i delete already applied textures from ojects, so that i can put new ones on them. I have the problem that for some reason although i apply new textures in XSI, the changes neither appear in ZE, nore in msh-viewer nore in-game. I'm pretty sure i did everything right.with freezing, exporting , etc.
help please

Re: Deleting textures
when i do that it deletes all textures from all other objects as well
EDIT: ok problem's got different :it does export the texture(it shows up everywhere), but they're all screwed up and streched.
I actually now how to texture, never had such a problem before--....

Re: Deleting textures
Open up your scene explorer, browse to polygon mesh->clusters, and then choose a cluster on your model to delete.daniel wrote:when i do that it deletes all textures from all other objects as well
Make sure your textures are frozen. The easiest way to do this is export your model as an .obj file and re-import, although you can also go into the texture coordinates options and freeze them there directly.daniel wrote:EDIT: ok problem's got different :it does export the texture(it shows up everywhere), but they're all screwed up and streched.

Sometimes if you tile a texture too much (or it extends too far into the -U and -V quadrant), visualmunge will read the texture incorrectly and your texture will be stretched ingame. The solution is either to tile less or to move your texture into the +U,+V quadrant.

Re: Deleting textures
still didn't work.
well i'm using mod tools xsi 6.01, so i think the .obj thing wont't work.
Isn't there any other way to it with xsi 6.01 ? to completely delete ALL textures from all ojects in the scene ?
( something like e.g. a clean-tool in visual munge)
please help
