Albino Birds

A while ago, I added birds to my map dantooine, and they have never worked, but I'm finally getting around to posting this topic, so here goes.

Ok, like I said they don't work, first it was that they would absorb the textures of the things around them, this was indicitive of a texture with RLE compression or something, so I resized their tga, and resaved.
Now they are completely white, no texture at all.

In:
C:\BF2_ModTools\data_IPF\Worlds\IPF\world1
I have bird.tga and bird2.tga

and in my .lua I have:
-- Birdies
SetNumBirdTypes(2)
SetBirdType(0,1.0,"bird")
SetBirdType(1,1.5,"bird2")
Like I said everything is fine, the birds are there, they fly, but they are just blank white.

I have this in my Felucia map lua ua :

-- Birdies
SetNumBirdTypes(1)
SetBirdType(0,3.0,"bird")

I *think* you have to add them to the world REQ. Check a shipped map's req. If it's required it'll be under one of the "texture" sections.

Offhand (and somewhat off-topic), do any of you know what the variables inside the setbirdtype function mean?

I'm pretty sure that's a range. Like a min/max within viewable distance.

ok, the texture shows now, but they aren't transparent.

I just tried it and it worked just fine :? I got both types of birds
