Ok. Well, it's been a while. Things have somewhat calmed down at school. Been less stressful, so, I'm happy about that.

I've been thinking about my map lately. Should I scrap it and start a new one? Or should I revamp everything within the current level with better buildings that resemble a much better urban environment?

I was thinking option 2.

So, thus I am asking now, if someone or some people would like to join me to make a group to actually get this series on it's legs and hopefully make it a good one?

I need someone to help me with the sides. (Haven't heard from Valiant, so I dunno what's goin on with those.

)
Someone to help with suggestions and ideas.
Heck, I can even use help from a few other mappers if we wanted to make a pack.

When I get this map to a good better testing percentage, I will consider allowing beta testing. Fair amount, probably 5 or 10.

So what do you guys think?

I would also like someone to help skin. I admit, I'm good at PS CS2, but not that good, if you know what I mean.
I also want help at how to edit particles for my map.

All and all, I'm basically saying, 'Revamp' and 'Better start'

Revamp the map. Its too much to waste. (Well, I don't know if its toooo much) You can change some of the buildings and the terrain (The sky is a little bit eyesore but it can't be change since the original sky is friggin' purple). There's already a PIII Dark Trooper and the magna guard can be turned into the PI with vibro blade. So I think basically the whole map scheme was planed out perfectly. Just the creation of the map takes time and effort. My suggestion is to not put in normal Storm Trooper units, just put in the Dark Troopers as this is the testing of the Dark Trooper.

I won't blame you for giving up the map though. Because I might if I were you, I don't have much time to mod because school already took away 50% of my life and time, and the next 2 years is the most critical year. So, yeah.....its up you now I guess.

Yea. I was asking for the use of the Phase 3.

I'm also still going with the idea of multiple classes of Phase 2 (different weapons, etc)

And I already skinned a Phase 1 on the magnaguard. All's I need to do is send the skin to someone.

I also need some different Rebel skins.

I still need to get rid of the damned Clone War era.

So, yea. I am going to revamp everything.

Update (sry for double post)
I got the skin to fit good onto the magna guard. Those Rebel skins look OK, so you have no problems there. The only issue I can think of is the 2 Dark Troopers. You would need to make it so a second msh of the dark trooper will accept a different skin. EIther that, or in XSI make a copy of the existing dark trooper and do whatever it is you do to assign a skin to a model. then, you can have both dark troopers ingame with their skins you sent me.

On the Phase 3, I think we should end up using ]v[ .
As for XSI. I'm not at all experienced in XSI. :/ I can't model even a simple cube. Rofl.
The other darktroopers. Hmm. Interesting.
As for the Rebels, I am glad they work well. That Commander one with the 4 red dots and 1 blue dot badge thing is not mine though. As said I am giving credit to whomever made it. (forgot his name already lolz)

I did some experienting a while back and this is my darky looks like

I used the chaingun msh scaled down 0.7 for the assault cannon (with a different odf) and made a skin for him.

You can hex-edit the msh to assign a model a different skin name (if you dont know how search it)

Cool, that looks like the one in the Dark Trooper pic on Wookiepedia. Very nice job, Syth!

Anyway, onto with what I'd like to know:

I realized this map has been in progress for a very long time now, and I was wondering if maybe I could work on the sides. I'm very comfortable with making custom sides, as you might've seen in my Kamino: Breakout, and you will see in my Mount Corona: Marshlands map.

If I could, I'd have to start at a slow-ish pace since I have to finish eli and koh for MTC first (that's MounT Corona, lol).
