Hi GameToast,

I need some help with the sky :)

I already have help from another modder that I will use but I would like to see if you guys know about how to..

Remove the Sun - I am making a nighttime map, and a really annoying thing is that the sun will not budge, could someone please tell me how to remove it?

Custom Skies - somebody made a custom nighttime sky (with clouds, a moon etc) but when I set it as the texture in the SKY file in game its only blackness (no texture at all)

for removing the sun you have to kill the sun lines in your mod.sky file and your mod.fx file

look at the tga with gimp or photoshop or whatever and see if there is something and if this doesnt help then copy and paste a skydome from a shipped map and overwrite the skytga with yours. i had the experience, that the sky file doesnt change the texture of the skydome... maybe its because the skydome is a msh
