Actually, I just picked up DDR Mario Mix for my kids about a week and a half ago.. It's pretty good (a little too easy on EASY or NORMAL modes), but it definitely gets harder when you have it on Hard, Very Hard, or Super Hard (the moves are just awkward at that level of difficulty, and they're really really fast)..
I was actually pretty lucky to find a used copy of DDR Mario Mix at my Local EB Games.. After the initial run of the game, it just disappeared, and if you can find one used, or on the net somewhere - pick it up..
The only problem I've seen with the game is that for some reason, the game won't allow you to save when it's hooked up to the Wii.. It doesn't detect the Game Cube Memory cards properly, and thus won't save to them properly.. Makes unlocking songs pretty difficult.. If you're a huge fan of "Nintendo" music (ie the themes to every game they've ever made), then it's a pretty decent game.. Unfortunately, I haven't come across any OTHER songs yet (no top 40 songs like Donkey Konga had).. But that could be because I haven't had the patience to try and unlock every single song included in the game without saving...
I have to say though, my wife loves this game (and I love watching her play the game
), and has worked up a sweat quite a few times playing it.. Me - I'm far too uncoordinated to play it on anything more difficult than hard, and even then I'm usually tripping over my feet. If Nintendo could resolve the GC memory card issue, I would say this game would be flawless for the Wii.
And from what I hear (if it's true anyways) is that the new DDR Hottest Party will allow you to use the dance mat from DDR Mario Mix, but will also allow you to use the Wii-Mote and Nunchuck, so it'll be pretty nice to have 2 mats, to play head to head. Apparently the new mat will hook up to the GC controller ports, so it should be identical (or very similar) to the existing one from DDR Mario Mix.

That's definitely more than one song. Look how they're dressed. Definitely not what I was hoping.

So. What's everyone watching looking at? Believe me, when you're taught to watch out for that stuff, it shows up pretty well.Moving_Target wrote:Ummm....yeah. When you're playing that's the last thing you're going to be paying attention too. Also those are just the songs that IGN demoed, so that doesn't mean every song will have women like that. Also just look at Hollywood and the movies, that's where women are worsted dressed.

You guys are making me SOO jealous. I REALLY want the internet on my Wii.
The problem is (I think) that a SpeedTouch wireless router isn't compatible with the Nintendo Wii. I feel like I'm going into a state of depression, LoL. And if I don't get the internet by the time Brawl comes out, I really will go into depression
