This. Funny enough, I remember watching the NFL 09 draft and seeing him, and also watching a few Ravens games this season.

Hot Shots. Probably the most hilarious film I've seen.

I think the best film I've seen recently is either Star Trek in Blu-Ray or Unbreakable by M. Night Shyamalan. Star Trek is already awesome, but Blu-Ray makes it that much more incredible. Unbreakable is one of my favorite movies. While it may seem slow, it has an intriguing story. I highly recommend it.

I did see Avatar in theaters but I didn't think it was that much to talk about. I personally didn't like the story all that much. Seemed pretty cliche. However, the CG was amazing! If there was one thing that I came out liking in that film, it was probably the CG and some of the acting.

Watched Lawrence of Arabia for the umpteenth time last night. Has the best cinematography of any film I've ever seen.

You liked it? Well, I guess everyone has the right to have their own tastes. Still, I think they should remove "Resident Evil" from the name, the movies have no relation to the games on which they were based, the locations where the first two movies took place may vaguely resemble the ones from the games, but the plot, characters and atmosphere are entirely different.
I don't like what they did with the zombies, the creators of Resident Evil always took pride in their use of the undead to scare the player, zombies had an important role in the games, but in the movies, they are just kind of there; they remind of figurants.

we'll have to excuse your blasphemies for now. resident evil is the zombie game you have to play at least once before you die, provided you're a fan of zombies.

Well count me out of that one.

I saw Akira. The only anime I don't hate.

That's kind of awful to say, because most of the people on this forum are American.

That had better be talking about a baseball team allusion in that movie I forgot, and you'd better explain that pronto - or else you're looking at multiple warnings. Nothing is ever funny about unprovoked acts of warfare or tragedies where people are killed.

And considering the events in which that film is based on... makes it slightly worse.

Now now, let's not take this matter so seriously, I'm sure Spiderpig was just being playful, perhaps he chose a perilously sensitive topic to joke about, but I am sure he meant no offense. Besides, in this case, it is just a movie; we are not talking about actual footage of real events.

Off-topic @Deathrow: woah dude, did I... just see a mudkip flash for a second there?

...is ok? (It is not.) It's more than a little crass. Regardless, I am withholding any sort of repercussion until his explanation.

What if he's Japanese? I personally thought the film was bleh, although a film made to commemorate (or should I say honor?) the fallen did its job.
