One object not at 0,0,0 location after reloading (solved)
One of my objects seems to behave something wired.
I moved it to the position i need then i freeze the translation so all entires shows zero but after reloading the scene this object always move to a different location 96,100,9 .
Any ideas?

Did you freeze all transforms as well as translation? Also, you are using XSI, right?

Hmmm, I've had that same problem in the past. Usually after I've imported the model from a different computer. The only solution I've been able to come up with, is just remake the object

Check to make sure you didn't accidentally key any parameters of the object, if you did then just remove all animation from it.Rends wrote:...I moved it to the position i need then i freeze the translation so all entires shows zero but after reloading the scene this object always move to a different location 96,100,9 .

Sometimes I have the same problem. The only solution I found is deleting the object and making a new one.

Found it!
the local transform position was locked (i dunno why but it was)
After unlocking and reset to zero all is fine now.
I marked the buttons that were locked (red) before.

When the buttons are red it means there was a key(or animation) on that parameter, at some point when you were translating or had translation active for that object you may have accidentally pressed the "K" key.Rends wrote:Found it!

Re: One object not at 0,0,0 location after reloading
Yes that might have been the case but it seems that it can´t be the accidently pressed k key alone.AceMastermind wrote:When the buttons are red it means there was a key(or animation) on that parameter, at some point when you were translating or had translation active for that object you may have accidentally pressed the "K" key.Rends wrote:Found it!

I tried to reproduce it by setting x to 100 and pressed the k key. The animation entry (local translation) was set to 100 and the object local translation was set too but the buttons wasn´t locked.
Anyway you pointed me into the correct direction so thanks for help

That's why I said "may have" since there are a number of ways to set keys on an object, for example pressing 1 on the number pad of your keyboard will also key the translationRends wrote:Yes that might have been the case but it seems that it can´t be the accidently pressed k key...
How to easily and completely remove unneeded animation from an object:
Select the object with animation that you want to remove
Click on the Animation button located just below the timeline
From the menu click Remove Animation then select from All Parameters, Any Animation Type

You may have had the Auto key on as well, that will really mess up your day as it sets the key frames automatically as soon as you stop moving the object.
