for the special i would make the boat going to the ship and island automaticaly, one Hangar maybe out of water so you can fly in there.(you land and go on the wall and the floor is the wall) and inside the ship some CPs

Well its still good to just experience and see what he made. It looks good as[Skirata]Darman[M] wrote:Not bad, but... Wouldn't dload. There's nothing special on this map.
PS: You should increase your texture resolution
A screenshot tells 1000 words, playing the map yourself tells a million.

Re: Kothlis: Commando Raid V2
So I decided to download and play the beta. I can't say I've followed this thread (I glanced at it once a while ago and thought, meh, your average first-time map, not really good). But I felt like trying something out today, so I decided it may as well be this.
I started playing and thought instantly that there was something not quite right. Something out of the ordinary that would cause me to rate it 2.5 on a scale from 1 - 10. Something that made the map seem like a first-timer's map, but also somehow even worse.
Was it the strange boxes scattered everywhere that flashed in and out of existence?
Was it the fact that enemy spawn nodes from a CP hundreds of meters away somehow dropped droids right on my head?
Was it that the maximum height was so low it prevented me from jumping and rendered jetpacks useless?
Was it the fact that as soon as I spawned, something behind me exploded rather violently?
Was it the fact that the map was named "Commando Raid" but there were no commandos or, in fact, raids?
Was it the fact that the entire map had just two terrain textures, a Kashyyyk sand texture and an oddly out-of-place stock Yavin grass?
Was it the odd setup that, playing as the Republic or Imperials, I would win within fifty seconds, even if I didn't spawn?
Was it the strange way every single tree was rotated the same way, making them feel like nothing more than props placed in the span of thirty seconds?
Was it the lack of map boundaries?
Was it the missing water squares?
Was it, well, this?
I may never know.
