As for Boba's weapon, if I remember correctly in the times before the unofficial patches his carbine had the model of E-11 and was called EE-3. The same is in your map.

As for pauldrons, in BFX mod some troopers are using black pauldrons (the shock trooper in the last version and normal sandtroopers in the older versions)

Hey Guys.
Just want to thank you for the warm welcome back and i´m proud that you still love my maps.
Guess Tatooine/Mos Eisley is overdone in the meantime but this is my favorite map.
So long i can remember i wanted to walk in Mos Eisley that feels and looks like Mos Eisley so i´m still working on this one!
There is still lot of stuff todo before i call it finished and i hope i can count on you !

Thx again!

Rends ?You know that there is still a problem to host the map online.
I guess it's a problem, because Sw-bf2.
The units always spawn and you can try to set the AI at Zero, but the AI still spawn.
I know this bug and that's one thing which i hate at sw bf 2.
I wonder why the maps are crashing when you try to host them online.
It's this really a problem, because lots of AI spawn?

This map looks great!

It looks really like tatooine spaceport.

Was cool see the locals walking around and some non armoured veichles.

Few suggestioins:

>Make dewbacks a mobile CP. It's slow and not too armoured so i don't see why use it. Or make them having a small gun.
>Don't know if it's possible, but on Lego Star wars, when you killed random guys at the cantina, a fight started with they shotting everyone inclusive you. Peharps that might be cool having small "wars" around the map.

My ratting is 9.0. Very good Tatooine map. I felt like walking on the city.

No offense but what is the logic in that? I mean, AT-ATs, AT-TEs, Hovernauts and MTTs are transports, so it makes sense to have them as mobile CPs; troopers are jumping out of those vehicles, ready for combat.

How would a Dewback "realistically" carry a whole batallion of troops and deploy them in the battlefield? Oh, wait... on second thought... I don't wanna know.

Hey I tried it. This map was and still is a masterpiece visually and gameplay-wise. :) An XL mode would be nice because the map is rather stretched out.

The Dewbacks are neat, but they don't really play a practical role otherwise. They are too slow to march across the city in.

A nit-picky note: the cantina model is actually inaccurate. In the movie, the entrance is located inside that dome and the bar area is halfway underground. And as far as I know, there's no back entrance.

I've just tried this out. It's a definite improvement on the last version. The added ships make it feel more like the spaceport from the film. Will you be adding music at a later stage?, maybe something from the films. It would definitely add to the atmosphere. Anyway, great work so far.

Jendo,
at least in the GCW conquest there should be the standart tatooine music and when you enter the cantina there should be the cantina music too.
I dealing around with a new cantina but no promises yet. Seems i have problems with a few polygons missing collision at the walls.

Amazing work Rends.

Glad you are back.

Coruscant City was't much of a favourite to me, but Coruscant Streets was mi number one. At least until I found of this one, which is the best Battlefront 2 map I've ever seen. It's really big and varied, which makes it really fun to play, even if you know it by heart. Some people say there are little troops in the game, but it makes for a guerrilla style of fighting, more than a real battle. Which is more canon actually, plus it reminds me to SWG, but with more action.

I love the scrolling words on the panels at the spaceport (I would like to see more of those) and the walking citizens all over the map. It makes it more reallistic. If you could only add some more variety to them... but that's up to you.

The new cantina you are making looks really good too. You are making the most accurate Mos Eisley map for BF ever. I was waiting for this custom cantina since I played BF, cause Pandemic's is far, far away from the real one.

I agree on adding the right colours on the soldier's shoulders, it would certainly make it more canon and, therefore, more fun to play.

I would just ask for three more things:

-Adding 1 adittional troop to each side, a bounty hunter/cool commando one, in order to add a little SWG/RPG option to the players. Jets, good rifles, grenades and stuff like that.

-More interiors, and their respective bot pathing, you know, houses from the inside. The Falcons inside would be great, just as some modders have done in Jedi Academy maps.

-And third. If you have the enough time, make the map bigger, expanding the cantina zone and the area over the Millenium Falcon. This is the best Mos Eisley map, why not make it as good as it could be? :D

Ha, just saw this topic while browsing through here and never even noticed it before. This map was one of my favorite mod maps because it was realistic and the custom buildings looked so much like the shipped ones. They all just blended in so well. Beta 1 was really nice and very enjoyable to play even with the shipped sides. I'll have to give beta 2 a download and see what's all new. And I'm certainly glad your continuing it.
