Sound troubles in profile (solved)

Post by Havoc 526 »

Okay, so I'm on a different Laptop this time around, right? Well, my other Laptop doesn't have any sound, because the sound card isn't being detected. It's been that way for a month or two now, and I've still been using it. So, when I finally decided I wanted sound, I went to my Mom's Laptop, there's the usual lack of TnL adapter warning, blah blah blah, I go in, there is sound, I click on my profile, select okay....

...AND THERE IS NO SOUND. My game...is a mute. What can I do to fix this?

EDIT: Okay, I reinstalled. That didn't fix a thing.

EDIT 2: *head desk* Okay, upon further investigation, I found that my Mixer configuration was disabled. I have no idea why. It was not disabled the last time I looked at it. But that's what fixed it! Credits to my Dad for the information on where to look.
