Ok get this. There's this guy named Yves Rossy who's designed literally a jet-pack. This isn't like in the bond movies or whatever, it is actually a set of wings, with jet engines that you strap to your back. Basically, he jumps out of planes, his wings fold open and then jets around. He recently flew across the english channel:
