I never released a mod, or any sort of addon level, and to be honest I don't plan to. I have very short tension span to finish something, and usually give up when encountering a hard issue.

My hobby sort of is to tweak existing content, since it's what I'm used to and like to play with.
I feel a bit bad for coming here at different times mooching code, help, etc.. without giving much back.

I would like a little bit opinion if anyone cares to reply. Thanks.

Don't worry about that. The people here share their knowledge and assets out of free will, not in expectation for some sort of reward other than the thanks and credits they deserve.

Nobody rightfully expects anything from anyone here. We're all just dabbling in a hobby, nothing more. Some of us intend to use that as a spring board for other projects, like Marth and I, but modding is ultimately just a hobby.

True. Neither has Dohnutt, or Grev, or -_- (okay he's done *some*), or Nova Hawk (LOL), or RevanSithLord, or Fiodis (done some), etc.

Point is it's not just a modding community. It's a community of friends (and some enemies kek), man.

Everyone who's here is contributing something very valuable - feedback. For a group of people who do a lot of work for free, the only currency that gets exchanged is communication, and that's better than anything. The site and the community would be more valuable with one mod and a good conversation than it would be with dozens of mods and no conversation.

Well it seems I'm a little late to the party here, but don't feel bad just because you've never released anything. I'm still around because I love the community and Star Wars battlefront, and that is enough of a reason for anyone to hang out on this forum.

....after all the only thing I ever contributed was a really sloppy Halloween map in an attempt to learn how to mod. It ended horribly

When I joined GT almost four years ago, I promised myself to release a map. I still haven't got a single map working actually I do but laziness FTW but I don't feel bad about it - why should I ? Why should you ?
