Vehicle Placement - No Respawn.

Post by PvtParts »

Okay, so before you ask I've gotten placing the odfs into the map directly, so the vehicles dont respawn.

But, for anyone whos tried to place droidfighters, you may understand what I mean when I say they are difficult to place..appropriatly.

So, I was wondering, if there is any other method to place a vehicle into your map so that it will not respawn, and of course what this method is.

I was thinking it would have to pertain to the SpawnTime variable in the ZE object box.

well - PLACE it as an Object! :P

That's my cheesy workaround because I can NEVER get a vehicle to spawn or respawn :P so I just place them as a prop: they work perfect

Yeah I've mastered the art of vehicle object placeing. Except, for like I said, flyers are a real pain (specifically the droidfighter) because they are totally deformed, and not necessarily in their landed position - meaning you have to sorta guess how high they go.

And Penguin, yeah my only worry was that they wouldnt spawn in the beginning. I just had never used the SpawnTime function and was unsure. But I realize, in the fact that vehicles spawn immediatly, even though the function by default has 45 given, that this concern was unfounded.

Thanks, I'll give it a try this afternoon (I'm about to go to school now)(
