Also the press release says the game will still be in between episodes 3 & 4.

So maybe it's not Vader's spirit, but Starkiller just flashbacking to stuff Vader said to him during his training.

Or maybe its a prequel... naw.

The trailer was really well done. The clip of Juno's voice was what gave it away to me, because that was a very powerful part of the game (and the book, if you read it).

Whoever wrote the Wookiepedia article for TFU2 at least thought it looked like Nar Shadaa, and I can see it, with the lighting and make up of what we see of the arena.

If the guy is star killer, then it's most likely a prequel. I can't think of anything else that would make sense or be reasonable.

If it were a clone, I doubt the Emperor and Vader would let him drift off.

Let's think back to the end of TFU. As you can see, A) The Rebel Alliance is formed in honor of Marek's death B) Darth Vader is now going to hunt down the Rebels C) Galen Marek's corpse DOES NOT VANISH.

However, Kota states "He is at last one with the Force," which would imply that his corpse went poof, as do all Jedi corpses.


That does not make sense!


So both the clone and reconstruction ideas are out the window. What now?

Oh I know! They copied the events of PotC 3: At World's End and transformed it into Star Wars!

The hero (Starkiller) dies a heroic death and then gets united with the Force but then the Rebels are desperate and want him back and go to great lengths on how to find him! Even if it means going to Galaxy's End!

No, reconstruction is not out of the window. Look a bit closer at the end cutscene of TFU. Marek's body is still there after dying. In the novel, it's still there, although he does have an out-of-body experience. Not all Jedi disappear upon death. In fact, so far, only Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin and Luke have done so. Even Qui-Gon, who found out about this art, did not disappear. "One with the Force" is just another way of saying "His soul has moved on". Which had supposedly happened before to Marek.

But it is inconsistent, anomalous, and made that forum quite outraged because it wasn't a TFU modding forum at all.

I do really like the trailer.
When he goes through the hallway, everything breaks down behind him, and he is twisted between the jedi and the sith teachings.
Then suddenly the voice of Juno pops up in his mind, and he calms down immediately. That's a strong motif, I think.

I am looking forward to this game, besides all the open questions now

the first half of the trailer is nice, but the second is just meh..

Im changing my view. Im going to welcome theforceunleashed2. As i enjoyed the first game on the wii. I just have a feeling this is going to be a assasins creed. I just have a feeling. Who else notices Starkiller and the assasins creed look alike?
