Basic Ground? (Solved)
How do I make ground and play on it in SWBF? All I want to do is make some ground and play on it, nothing advanced.

Re: Basic Ground?
You mean BF1 or BF2? I don't mod for BF1, so ask in the "All Things BF1" forum here. For BF2, just create a map. The ground is loaded for you.

Glad to be here =)
Yeah I'm talking BF2, I'll see what I can do. I haven't really used modtools or zero editor yet.

You don't have to. Assuming you've already downloaded the mod tools, go to C:/BF2_ModTools/data/_BUILD, and run "ModToolsVisualMunge.exe". Follow the prompts, don't click the "Space Map" check box
, and click "Create World". It will create the map for you.

Yah, the first thing to do when you get the modtools is read the documentation (at least the getting started doc), saves a bundle of time. If you don't get it, try reading it again. Get some hands on experience in ZE. A lot of the stuff is difficult at first, but it gets much easier as you go on. And Welcome to GT!
