In case anyone was wondering (Probably not, but just in case) I have already searched Rhen Var Citadel, Rhen Var Harbor, and Kamino Tipoka City for glitches. So, those will (Probably - depends on when the kill-zones are added) be "wall-hacker" safe
.
Just thought I'd tell you all.
(Sorry for the double post.)

hey teancum is there any possible way to fix the "anywhere" wall glitch?
The one that involves auto-turret?
(vague on purpose here so as not to inspire hack noobs)
cuz once people find that thier fav hack spots dont work they'll turn to exploiting that
if you get rid of that glitch and the regular hack spots you could probably (almost) eradicate wall hacking

If I understand you correctly as to to function of the 'Anywhere' wall glitch, then the problem can't be fixed with ease. They way it works (Won't go into the meathod due to the 'hack noobs') makes a single fix impossible (As far as I know). You COULD place a kill zone in EVERY wall, however. Although I doubt that's too practical.
Sorry for stealing the question from you, Teancum.

You could remove the auto-turret's collision points, but that might make it possible to throw them thorugh and/or inside walls. Its a problem with the game engine, not the turrets themselves.yoyam wrote:...is there any possible way to fix the "anywhere" wall glitch?
The one that involves auto-turret?...
All the good hacks take some time to do. If you see someone attempting them, kill them.
Another way to prevent wall hacking is to remove the ground. It doesn't matter if you can get into a wall if you fall down as soon as you are inside.
It seems you can't shoot out from some types of objects. For all those who model new objects, add the internal collision. Wallhacking means almost nothing if you can't get/shoot back out.
Nice work modders of the BF1 conversion pack.
