Or the music when you see a documentary on something like Jack the Ripper. *shudders* Who wants to hear a horror-related piece of music? It would also get annoying if you wanted to listen to music on your iPod, but the background music just won't stop. That would drive me crazy.Grev wrote:There I some things that most people wouldn't want to hear a soundtrack for. What kind of soundtrack would you want for vomiting, or something to that degree? Wouldn't that get annoying? Although without looking at the fine points, it seems like a good idea.

The soundtracks of the old Silent Hill games are amazing in their weirdness and creepyness, it's "beautiful" in its own sense. Any song that actually inspires dread or uneasiness, without using common horror-flick clichés, is interesting in my book.Ping wrote:*shudders* Who wants to hear a horror-related piece of music?
Hahaha, yeah, I can picture that happening.Ping wrote:It would also get annoying if you wanted to listen to music on your iPod, but the background music just won't stop.

Yeah, I can't wait until mine kicks in. It's less than a year now, for me.The_Emperor wrote:Yeah it's this thing Guru built in for fun, I almost got that feature too... Dunno why it's 4 years and 3 months, just random guruness I guess. Reason it takes so long is it'd cost a lot of bandwith to give it to everyone from the start.Raptor522 wrote:I'm serious.GangsterJawa wrote:Lol, I wish.Raptor522 wrote:Every time I log into GT, a random piece of John Williams music plays. Not just Star Wars, either. Currently, the Indiana Jones theme song is blaring. It's a setting you unlock after 4 years & 3 months.

Look at Gametoast. Examine the name. Gametoast.GangsterJawa wrote:Why such a random number though? Why not 1 year, or 5 years, or something?
Remember the tofu and salmon jerky copyright on the bottom of the website?
Now ask again why such a random number

I thought people knew about this. Guess not. Ah well, just another reminder that I've been here significantly longer than pretty much everyone else.

Heh, or imagine when you're trying to sneak up on people.
Dun dun.... dun dun dundundundun....
That'd never work again...
I once saw this hidden camera show where a pianist played a song matching what unsuspecting shoppers were doing in a mall, much like pianists did in silent movies (he saw them through the survailance cams, and his music was played in the entire store, adapting the musics speed, volume and complexity to their actions)
Most people freaked out and went away, 'cept for a small child who started dancing

And dang, I've only got 3 years and 4 months down. Just 11 more until I have John Williams music marking my dramatic logging in to GT.
