Wow, if it weren't for the fact that I already own the majority of the games, then I'd try to convince my parents to let me buy it.

Oh Lucasarts week, how I have longed for thee...

Btw, I do recommend TFU: Ultimate Sith Edition for those of you who have only played the Wii version (or have not played TFU at all). It fixes most of the camera issues present in the original PC port, and the controls are not half as bad as everyone makes them sound (they're probably used to having an Xbox controller in their hands and not used to having to adjust to a keyboard).

Essentially, its the Xbox/PS3 version of TFU that the Wii missed out on, including the fight with PROXYMaul, finding Kota on Cloud City, better gamplay (IMO), and much better graphics/cinematics.

In fact, the only thing the Wii had over this port (besides a botched duel mode, of course) was a different cloud city level where you fight bounty hunters to rescue Garm Bel Iblis (but lets face it, all TFU levels are the same, so adding one isnt going to make much difference) and some trips to the Jedi Temple (again, just three tiny levels). And The Ultimate Sith Edition includes a different Jedi Temple level, which is longer than the Wii's three combined, and quite honestly my favorite of the three extra levels contained in Ultimate Sith Edition.

Anyway, my two cents is that if you don't have the Xbox/PS3 version of TFU already, this is definately worth the $7.50, if you have the 25 gigs of space... (cmon, you can always uninstall later)
I wonder what tomorrow's sale is gonna be...

Ugh, I would totally buy TFU for that price if I were more certain I could handle the system requirements. I think I meet just about everything, but my processor speed is 2.26GHz compared to the 2.4GHz listed in the requirements. Would that difference make or break my ability to run the game?

You could try a "Can You Run It?" test...

Wow, its too bad I already own a lot of those games and I already have the Ultimate Sith Edition for the 360. Its a great deal, but I don't think I'll be spending any money right now. If I were to get one, I would get Republic Commando.

I'll likely pick up Battlefront II if it goes on sale, but like others have said, I have nearly all of these games.

I don't have TFU though. Do you guys think it's worth it? I don't even know that much about it, but I might get it for $7.50.

As Twilight Warrior pointed out, it's worth getting for the PC/Xbox/PS3.

I might just get Dark Forces, if only because I can't figure out how to work it on my machine. Starfighter also looks kind of appealing.

well, tfu: use for pc is certainly not bad but it will be around 25 gb big once its installed an patched. well, the patches dont seem to have any effect on the performance or graphics but they seem to reduce the loadingtimes a bit.
you dont have any real graphicoptions and you may not have sound in the cuscenes and they are dragged on 4:3 if your screen has that ratio even though they are actually 12:9. If you remap the buttons (with an extra .exe hidden in the gamefolder) you still see the standardbuttons ingame in the pressabuttonquickly-events which will lead to confusion. Additionally the menus are not even slightly edited, you have to use your keyboardbuttons to navigate and if you cant to choose a new costume or buy a new attack it loads pretty long.

but all-in-all its a fun game and can be played easily with keyboard and (a 4/5 button) mouse.
about the performance: i can run it smoothly on 2gb ram, 320mb geforce 8800 GTS and core two duo with 2,4GHz on a 19'-screen

Only if you feel like playing one of the highest rated RPGs in the history of the genre. Not to mention it's Star Wars...

I realize that... it's just that that really isn't my type of game. Oh well, I'll get it anyway.

Oh its not mine, either. I don't play RPGs. Ever. But KotOR is somehow...different...for me. I don't exactly know why, probably simply for the fact that its Star Wars, but in any case KotOR and KotOR2 are the only RPGs I have enjoyed.

Empire at War Gold Pack for $5 today. Includes original Empire at War and the expansion, Forces of Corruption.

And thanks, Spidey, for saving me the trouble of making a new post with all the stuff from my old post, then deleting my old post  .

Anyone want SWBFII from Steam? $5 and hopefully support for the future when the hardware starts to outgrow the game. I'm debating it, just so I don't have to carry around discs...
