I've heard that this game is going to be super-lame. Opinions?

*Off Topic* - This comes out on my birthday.

played the demo,those rumours are true graphics on the 360 look like wii graphics aswell

Although the graphics (and especially some sort of lighting) looks unbelievably childish at some point, the gameplay would be epic I guess.. Good or not, can't play to kill droids as a TCW jedi!

Played the demo on my Xbox, the camera is annoying and the general gameplay is bad. Although, I think young kids will get a kick out of it as it is aimed at them.

I've already pre-ordered my copy for my 360 but I haven't played the demo yet. I can't wait to play as Plo Koon or any Jedi or Clone from TCW!

Understatement of the year. Looks really lame. It just looks like it's gonna be one of those other games like the RotS game that is running around slicing droids and fighting the occasional bad guy with a lightsaber with absolute zero replayability.

The series itself would not be all that bad if:

They got Hayden Christensen to play the voice of Anakin

Got rid of Ashoka

Stopped using overused sayings

Made the villains win sometimes

and

Made Greivous a little more, how shall we say it, vicious?

Actors who played big parts in movies rarely do voice acting for the video games based on those movies/series.

I don't watch The Clone Wars, but from what I gather, she is a major character in the show, in fact, she seems to fit into the "prodigious child" archetype -- an important role in a kid's shows-- they can't just get rid of Ashoka, without her, they won't have a character that the kid's can relate to and admire for her amazing deeds.

Although a series needs to have a recurring humorous saying (e.g.: "I have a bad feeling about this"), I do agree with you, overused sayings are just plain annoying.

Agreed. Then again, I should remind you that it's a kid's show, it's supposed to be lighthearted and upbeat, which isn't a necessarily a bad thing, I have seen many kid's show that were pretty entertaining, even though the villains were highly incompetent.

Anyway, this thread is about the game not the show, let's stay on-topic.

Okay, I guess what I mean about Ashoka is that they never should of had her in the first place.
It doesn't even fit. The Jedi Council did not trust Anakin in Ep3, why would they trust him with a padawan?

On-Topic: Why did they make the game violent enough to be rated "T"? I am pretty sure that 90% of Star Wars liking teens hate the Clone Wars series.

I saw a couple of gameplay vids/screens, and (while I've never actually played the game) the gameplay doesn't seem to exciting. The battles are kind of just standing still and shooting when you play as clones, and I don't really like the whole "droid-jacking" deal either.

She's a great plot filler? What if they didn't trust him because of something to do with her?

there are some jedi quest books who could possibly explain the mistrust in him, i personally dont need ashoka for that
and do you really think ashoka will die in the end of the series because of anakins fault or something like this?

Agreed. I love the Phase 1 clone armor and I don't like Ashoka either.

We'll have BF3 when L.A. tells us. No sooner, probably later.

Agreeing with most of the people in this thread, I don't like Ahsoka.

Sorry for going Off-topic again, but if Ashoka can beat General Greivous, than who couldn't?

Then how did he get his glowing, cutting, detrachtable things...what are they called again, lightning bugs?
