Crash on map load in Windows 7 [Solved]
This is pretty self explanatory for those of you who have tried BFII on Windows 7, but heres how the game runs. It doesn't
. Battlefront II will die when you attempt to load a map. After looking online
I saw that it had something to do with the 7's sound drivers. I installed the Realtek HD Audio Manager drivers, but it still wouldn't work. Any suggestions from those who have gone through these same problems?

Re: Windows 2007
Do you mean Windows 7? There's no such thing as Windows 2007, unless you mean Vista.

Re: Windows 2007
Sorry, I got my Microsoft and Windows mixed up. It would be Microsoft 2007.
How would I do that, 501st_Commander. I am really new to 2007, so as much instruction as possible would be nice.

Re: Microsoft 2007
As far as I know there's no Microsoft 2007 either, unless you mean MS Office 2007. But that's irrelevant to any of this.

Re: Microsoft 2007
Ok, sorry, I am not thinking right today. It is Windows 7. Done
Also, it is Windows 7 Ultimate, 32 bit. If that is needed.

Re: Windows 7
i once had this problem. Press start (thing at bottom left of the screen), control panel. switch to the classic view. Go into sound. Click the recording tab, and right click in the area underneath and click, show disabled devices. There will be something called stereo mix. Right click it, and press enable. Thats what I had to do with my vista 64x. It might be slightly different for you.

Re: Windows 7
Thank you so much. I saw this online, but didn't understand. The visual helped. Sorry for the mix up
, but it worked out in the end. Thanks again GT, hypshawdowthehedgehog, and 501st_commander.
