
Hello Gametoast. Food_Eater here. I'm proud to announce my second map and the first
map I've developed in over two and a half years, Corellia: Coronet City.
Background:
Coronet City is a sprawling spaceport metropolis and capital of Corellia, a planet home to
smugglers, pirates, and many heroes and villains from the Galactic Civil War. The city is
home to Han Solo of Star Wars fame (haha), and is a very important location in Star Wars
canon throughout all eras.
During the development of this map I have ignored much of expanded universe information
regarding the location, aside from the bare basics. This means that avid EU fans will be
disappointed when they find a lack of locations like the "Blue Sector" or CorSec officers
patrolling the streets. Galaxies players will be especially disappointed because I've kicked
the SWG interpretation of the city out the window. This is my own interpretation of the city and proudly so.
Description:
The map features a network of walkways and platforms strung between skyscrapers and
surrounded by various spacecraft. The map is greatly inspired by Rend's Coruscant maps
and uses a lot of reskined models from those two maps. One way to describe the map is
that it has the altitude of Coruscant City and the nightlife of Coruscant Streets. I guess the images do the map more justice than whatever description I can offer...

Features:
•A number of animated objects. Ships hover, airbusses fly above the skyline, and most
importantly - the Corellian Corvette under much of the map's walkways takes off into the
skies and lands, and sits idle over the course of a 3-minute loop.
•Lots of new heroes, including Wedge Antilles, General Veers, Ben Kenobi, Dash Rendar,
Baron Fel, and more!
•CW-era stuff, I swear.

I've been working on this map for about four weeks now. It should be done relatively soon,
but I've been slowly losing interest in the project and I've been having issues with getting the
custom locals to not crash the map. Hopefully with the start of this topic and insight from the community, I'll get myself to finish this.
